Give him a new contract.

Brilliant since he's come on. Made a difference and actually offered an attacking threat.

MOTM Today. Should start next match.

Think he wants in for the real game. And should get in.

Would be amazing to have Nani on form. He is fantastic on form.

He probably won't.

Selling him would be a daft thing to do.

To think he has been anonymous/injured for the majority of this season, what a fantastic option he his when he is on form.

Hes played well today but seriously, you guys do like to moan when other teams fans do this business of calling a player shit untill he has one half of a game in which hes good and suddenly he becomes one of the most important players in the team again.

Its Reading at home in the FA cup, this 45 minutes in which i'll admit hes been good, does not make up for a lot of the time when he is not
I still think you should keep him, hes a great squad player to have, but he is not a player you cant afford to lose, in fact you could easily attract a far better player in a similar position in the summer.

Which evidently I think you will.

Hes played brilliant against your lot plenty of times.

Of our 3 plausible right wingers, which do you think is the best Rob? Because it's not so much that we can't afford to lose him, it's that we'd much, much rather he played over Young or Valencia. When available.

Who would this 'far better player' be?

Up until the start of this season I thought Valencia was far better, in fact I felt he may mature into a world class winger this season, but Tony has been poor this season and seems to have regressed.

On that basis Nani is the best of the three currently, but you guys would be the first to admit it has not been a good season for your wingers in general.

I think Nani will go in the summer, and you will sign another.

Who would this 'far better player' be?

Bale, Wilshere, Lewandowski. ( I know they are not directly in Nanis mould at all but they are all players you could buy from the sale of Nani.)

At present all three are far better ( from a non bias point of view)

Best performance by him by a mile this season. But people need to calm down over him. I think he'll start against QPR.

Two of them don't play in his position and the other we'll never be able to buy (not that we'd have a chance of getting Wilshere either).

Very good today - back on the bench next game though, you know it

It's all about letting Nani get into his stride and then continuing to play him, if we don't start him at QPR he'll just go back to 'inconsistent' Nani. Not a player that can be heavily rotated.

Very unrealistic though.. Nani wouldn't fetch that much and they would be pretty expensive..

Did all the things our supporters have been crying out for Valencia to do for most of this season. Take players on, shoot when theres a chance to do so and generally have an impact. Valencia is often happy to be a cog in the wheel, Nani showed again today that he wants to be someone who decides the match himself.

Cant remember the last time one of our wide players scored and set up the 2 goals we scored, simply because our wingers have lacked that kind of impact this season. This is why we've missed him

It's clear to see the difference between Valencia and Nani, one can't cross and the other when on form is truly an excellent player.

I don't get that, I like Valencia a lot but he just doesn't have the tool kit to be truly world class.

Nani patently does, I'd wager the chance of Nani becoming Ronaldo levels of consistent is a lot higher than Valencia becoming a world class player.

Please start the fecker over Young or a Valencia and give him a new contract. He is simply too talented to lose, if we were to still him anyway it would be a average price at best if he doesn't renew his contract.
