howard deserves the start. now he has to prove that he's one of the best keepers around, if he cant deliever, it will be very difficult for him. on the other hand he needs some games to get to his best! hopefully he doenst feck up!
 
So is this the day where Howard will claime the # 1 spot?
 
Caroll isnt even on the bench.
Thats settled then , he wont be back for Milan game, unless Howard screws up again today
 
Carroll is yet to sign a new contract isn't he? I think as well that Howard deserves the #1 spot.
 
carroll gambled for a better contract (or his advisor), and now it could mean that he's out, as long as howard can prove that he deserves his place!

For now maybe, we still need a new Top class keeper, none of them have be consistent enuff to be consider Very good!!. It may do Howard good though and he may go on to play a blinder against milan!.

He doesn't ''play where he wants''

He'll do a good job wherever he's asked to play, but I doubt he's a better CM than O'Shea and Phil.
