Same team vs Arsenal, but with Vidic coming in for Brown, Ole coming in for Fletcher and Evra for Silvestre.

I think I'm gonna start writing Roneiyj, Gygs, Sochyls instead of Rooney, Giggs, Scholes. Is it that hard to remember it's "Kuszczak"? It's our player after all, we should remember how to write his name.

again, as with last sunday, this will be no easy three points, particularly if Fergie takes leave of his senses and rests a number of players. I can see us slipping up here and will be wagering as such.

I can see Reading taking the game to us and i think an upset could be on the cards. The way we have approached games such as this one in the past has led me to believe we will drop points. I hope the lads can prove me wrong mind you.

Some players probably will be rested with the next game in Europe in mind

It will be a tough match. For Reading players it is going to be their cup final of the season so no easy ride. They´ll use air a lot so Rio and Wes must be at their best and therefore I would play Silvestre or even O´Shea ahead of Evra at LB.

But still I believe in comfortable victory for us. 0:3 (Saha, Ronaldo, Ole)

any news on the Heinze or Vidic injuries? wouldnt mind seeing them play if they are fit. Brown and Rio are as unreliable as they come right now. One of them should definetly be chopped.

don't underestimate this team. They actually play football, rather than just battle and pump balls over the top.

VDS
Gaz - Rio - Brown - Evra
Fletcher - Carrick - Scholes - Ronaldo
Rooney - Saha

0-2
Saha
Ronaldo

I'm not underestimating Reading, seeing how Wigan faired last season against most teams. But we'll pull it off in the end.

I really hope SAF doesn't decide to rest anyone for this game. Reading should not be underestimated.

This will be a tough one. Reading are a good side. Seol and Kevin Doyle are dangerous players.

Does not seem that Heinze or Smith will be back for this one. We could do with a shot of adrenalin from them.
I really hope VDS is back.

I think the team will be:
VDS/Kus
Nev Rio Brown Evra
Fletcher Scholes Carrick Ronaldo
Rooney Saha

Maybe it's just the bitter taste after the last game, but I've a feeling we might only draw this game. I don't think Rooney will suddenly get his game back in less than a week. It'll take a little big longer. Ronaldo may suffer a loss of confidence after his screw-up against Arse. So we might need Scholes to be the game-breaker for us.

Did you copy my selection? :) Nice to see someone agrees.

Although Reading are no pushovers its better to give Saha some rest and start with Smith or Ole

----------------The Pole------------------
Neville----Rio--------------Brown----Evra---
-----Fletcher----Carrick----Scholes--------
-----Ronaldo-----Smith-----Rooney--------

Smith deserves some time out in the middle. If the manager doesnt consider him even to start against Reading he shouldn't be in the squad.

well said, mate. He is a United player, that's the least we can do

a little tip: split it into three parts
Kus-zcz-ak
you see, it isn't that difficult ;)

what logic?? going by that you'd rather have only 11 players in the squad!!:nervous:

This game is incredibly important. After such a shit performance against L'Arse, we really need a great performance. Reading should not be underestimated as newly promoted teams are physical and never give up, especially against the top teams. In order to get the last result behind us, we need to win by 3 goals and with style. If we can do that, or come close, we can win the league. Bouncebacability is the key to Championship-winning sides.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE READING !!! i watched them last week - if we play like we did against the arse we'll draw or lose this 1 .. they play good passing game and are dangerous up front (kevin doyle absolute bargain from cork city £120,000) .. having said that i always believe we are gonna win - but dont be surprised if its a draw

It just came to my mind that we have the solution that Giggs and Park are out and I dont know why did not pomp to my head earlier. We have Solskjaer as a right winger. Remember how good he was when he replaced Beckham in that position. So my new personal line up will be:

VDS
GAZ RIO VIDIC EVRA
OLE CARRICK SCHOLES RONALDO
SAHA ROONEY

Preety good he?

Brown and Silvestre out.. Vidic and Heinze in.. if fit.

Vidic and Gabby won't start ... lack of matches this season will see them as subs for atleast the next 2 matches.

id like to see ole start this one, although its unlikely

-----------Kuszczak-------
Gaz-------Rio----Wes----Evra

Ronaldo--Oshea--Carrick----Rooney

-------------Scholes-----------

-------------Saha----------------

Reading won't be a push over. They're scoring goals in the Premiership and they are good at home.

I would take the risk and play Vidic though. He needs match fitness, and it makes sense to get him in better condition, considering we have a fair few matches coming up. Would also give Wes and Rio something to think about.

-----------Kuszczak-------

Gaz-------Rio----Vidic----Evra

Ronaldo--Fletcher--Carrick----Richardson

-------------Rooney-----------

-------------Saha----------------

I think O'Sheas performance against Arsenal was just too poor to reward him with another start. I'd give Fletcher a chance, and see if he takes the chance. I've been impressed with him this season. I'd also rest Scholes and put him on the subs bench, allowing Carrick more pitch time, but also allowing Scholes a rest for midweek. Perhaps putting Scholes on with 20 minutes to go to give him a bit of a run out?

I'd also give Richardson a run out against Reading. I'd like to see Evra and him working together, i think they could work very well together. Also the Reading right back is a little slow.

Steve Coppell back at OT. Let's give him a big hand and maybe have a song and then play his team off the park. Three nil would be great, but considering our form I'll settle for one. Master Wayne to hammer it home in the 11th minute.

----------------------Kuszczak(sp?)-----------------------

--Neville----------Rio-------------Brown-----------Vidic---

---------------Fletcher---Scholes----Carrick---------------

---------------Ronaldo------Saha--------Rooney----------

Prediction: 4-1 to us (Saha2, Scholes, Rooney)
