You won't be dropping by Saturday afternoon then, what with us going to destroy your lot? Should be a good game, both sides as always will be well up for it with the added spice that we need to win to keep us on course for the league and you beating us and ruining our title chances is possibly one of the biggest achievements you've had in the last 3 decades.

We have absolutely got to win this match. If we don't it will rejuvenate Chelsea and they could beat Arsenal and then what would happen. Put out the best team possible.

I don't think we will be seeing any title celebrations here.

OK, City might not have scored a home goal since they left Maine Road, they are without their best player and they have distractions off the field, but I just think there is one more twist in the title race.

I think City will score....finally...but I think we will score more. Having said that, I think we will be really knackered and Fergie is going to give them one hell of a team talk. Beat city and I believe that is it, regardless of what Chelsea do. So I just hope our team is really wound up about it. Hopefully the Milan result will really inspire the younger team members -

Come on United....make my summer. I soooooooooooooo want that title...

I think there is a real possibility of Saha and Smith starting together up front. I would be OK with that because they are our two freshest strikers and should hopefully be willing to go out there and show they mean business.

Sure, why not? Except im not too sure about the central midfield of Vidic and Ferdinand. Vida, espescially, looked slow and rusty against Milan and it was clear that he was not fully ready. We dont even know what state Rio will be in yet.

Also no telling if the four you have selected in midfield may start. Its unlikely that Rooney would be deployed in that position.
 
Smith and Saha? Maybe, both should be ok. Saha played 15 min against Milan and Smith didn't play at all. We need fresh players tomorrow. I would like to see Giggs in midfield, but is he ready after playing 3*90 min the last week?
 
Who will replace Barton? I heard something about Johnson? Is he a good player?
Also, is Beasley fit for tomorrow? good player.

We always got Kieran Richardson for LM. He has done fairly well in the recent games he has played. Do you think Fergie would risk starting him?

hope your right. Would be glad to have a relaxation of tension for a week or so before the cup final.
 
Lets hope Arsenal do the business against Chelsea then. They will need to raise their game as a way to get revenge on the blue scum. All the better for us so long as we overcome city.
 
Pearce has said that the reason the game was'nt moved to sunday was cos of the fans and the distance they have to travel and the plans they have made. now given that it is a stonewall fact that every city fan (100% of em) lives in Manchester and not say.....Stockport does this not strike anyone else as strange
