Manchester City v Manchester United

I don't know if Saha out is an injury decision or a cruel Fergie one but surely this is it! How more can we take?

O'Shea should be in there instead of Heinze. I'm not sure exactly how shit a player has to get before he's dropped. Especially when there's a suitable alternative sitting on the bench

Don't agree noodle. Heinze was made a scapegoat in midweek - he's normally fine at left-back, and has more determination than John.

Both playing makes me a bit nervous - not much football between them recently and Vidic looked rusty in the week. If Rio pulls his groin again, I'm not going to be happy.

He's been really shit for the last three or four games now, where as O'Shea's actually been playing really well, except for on Wednesday.

Saha's become as pointless as Robben

Is there anyone to look out for in the citeh lineup?

Can't say I pay much attention to them these days.

John's been ok, yes, at right-back and centre-back. Heinze has been poor, yes, but has only had one game at left-back. And clearly we need a left-back if we're going to play Wes, Rio and Vidic. Has to be Heinze.

Saha's become as pointless as Robben

Is he on the bench?

I'd go further, Heinze has been inconsistent in almost all games this season.

Agree with Sinch about his determination.

Its OK to pull your groin but if you're on the pitch, be fecking arsed until you're subbed or just get off

That's such bollocks, that. Everyone having a go at him, but it was very nearly half-time, so clearly his manager wanted him to stay on. Rio was just doing what he was told. It's not easy running at full pelt with a pulled groin - ever tried it?

Still sinch, there was a grey area whether he was actually marking the player/defending or was he there just to make up the numbers. It was confusion that lead to the goal. This is not a reason to have a go at him for all his contract soap-opera. He is after all our best defender

Anyways, feck that

Isaksson
Onuoha Dunne Distin Ball
Ireland Hamann Johnson Beasley
Mpenza Vassel

Weaver, Sun, Sinclair, Dickov, Samaras

Pretty confident now.

If we're not up for this en we don't deserve the title. We're going to start slow though probably which will put the shits up me.

Robbo's right, we've started really poorly in our last 4 or 5 matches. Hope it doesn't happen today. Need to start well.

It's not going to be easy, due to the fact that the players have barely had any rest from the Champions League tie. If City press us hard from the start, it will be extremely difficult to get our rhythm going.

lets grab the fecking title today boys common!!!!!!!!!!!

3-1

I agree, but we need our best defence for Chelsea and the Fa cup
But we also need to give them a chance to get back into form playing together
Playing them today should mean they have a match to get back into the swing without too much bother
Or thats the theory anyway :D
