Even though it is a derby and City's biggest game of the season:

They haven't scored since New Years Day at home.
The Barton fracas will surely have the dressing room in disarray.
Barton, undoubtebly their best player is suspended.

I expect at least a 2-0 win.
 
It's hard to say what the team should be, should Saha after being a right pussy for the last couple of months walk straight back into the team just because he's now feeling mentally fit? Should Evra come back after missing the midweek game after what happened to him in the derby last year? Should Smithy come back? Who should play right back should Rio return? Questions questions questions.

Joey Barton has been banned, thats good since he is their driving force in derby games.

they'll be in "Cup Final" mode on though, so we cannot sit back or underestimate them.

Lets not hold back against them. Its time to play with our full potential again. We need a great result to return the attacking confidence and self belief to our squad again. Ronaldo in particular needs to raise his form again.

It should be easier to get points on Sat than on Wed so we should try to take advantage by playing our best team - if we should happen to be comfortably ahead later on we can bring on subs. 3 points would almost seal the title.
 
I'd like to see Rio rested still as a precautionary measure. With groin injuries you never truly know when they are healed until you exert yourself, which is why it's always wise to err on the side of caution and rest a little longer - even though it seems and feels fine.

Well then we can easyly play with the reserves just to make a joke out of it. Even if we lose the next two games playing with the reserves Fergie can say that we took the tittle playing with the reserves :)

If we beat City and Arsenal deny Chelsea all three points. We could well play people such as Dong, Eagles, Richardson, Smith, Saha, in the last two games. But we will not make a joke out of it. Fergie has his pride and he will put out a team he believes can win while still resting key players.

not if we end up losing 6 v 0 to chelsea, then chelsea could still win the league, if we draw and chelsea lose its only 6 points difference
