Manchester City vs. Manchester United

We won't win this.

4-0 to City.

Robinho x 3 and substitute Elano to round out a big win for the Massives.

Berba back in contention according SAF, should train today and depending how it goes may start or feature on sunday.
Scholes may return next week! city game too early for him.

No way.

Th fact they play in Europe tonight is a big advantage for us also.

It's a bit obvious that he was being a bit sarcastic

Hard to tell with some people, especially ones that i don't think I've ever seen before....

With the amount of negativity on these boards this season nothing would surprise me.

Van Der Sar
O'Shea Rio Vida Evra
Park Carrick Fletcher Ronaldo
Berbatov Rooney

PIG; Rafael, Evans; Nani, Anderson, Giggs; Tevez

feck em, 2-0 Rooney x2

City are winning at Schalke 2-0 without Robinho, Elano and Zabaleta.

Any of you confident for Sunday? God help us.

Irland is a very useful player for them, should be marked,,,SWR is a real threat also.

If Anderson were asked to do a job on anyone, i'd rather it be Ireland than Robinho.

Why are caftards worrying about players like Robinho and Ireland, with all due respect Robinho is a great player and Ireland has made huge strides this season and developing in to a class player. But, we have got enough talent to trouble their defence the whole afternoon long. We shouldn't be worrying about opposition players when we posses one of the best talents in world football in Rooney, Berba, Tevez, Rio, Evra and Ronnie.

C'mon where has all the optimism gone?

Into Giuseppe Rossi's head.

I'd like to see this team:

--------Vds---------
Rafael----Rio---Vida---Evra
Ronnie-Fletch-Carrick- Park
------Rooney-Berbatov

Will be a close one. The defence is starting to look like the wall they where last season. Im going for a 1-0 victory, Ronaldo to score.

I am going to break my own self imposed rule and post on this thread. I hope both Anderson and Fletcher get to play. I don't buy into this notion than Anderson tends to play better in an advanced role, on the evidence of his United career to date he plays better as a box to box central midfielder. Depending on Berba's fitness I will favour a three man midfield that doesnt include Giggs. Giggs should play as one of the three forwards though. He still is very much a winger regardless what Fergie says.

I am going to go for an away win

another draw, I reckon. Which, really isn't a bad result but there'll be the usual "united in crisis" shite in the press and the usual doom-Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaimeers on here

In view of last season's results against the bittermen, wouldn't be too bad

-------------------- Van Der Sar --------------------

--- Rafael ---- Ferdinand ----- Vidic --------- Evra ---

-------------- Rooney ------- Berbatov --------------

Subs: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Evans, Fletcher, Giggs, Nani, Tevez

I wouldnt consider dropping Fletcher.

Never thought I'd say that.

2-0 Wright-Phillips (32) vicious shot from 18yards flies into the bottom nearpost corner, Robinho (48) outrageous lob-volley with his back to goal, following good work from ireland. also elano comes on in the last 30 minutes hits the woodwork five times and misses three penalties.

ha ha that was just said to me

you all need to stop being soft fecking tits and wear you're heart on you're sleeve. we ARE the kings of manchester, always have been always will be, no dirty sand money will change that. if we loose so what, let them have their glory.

so what if they have beaten us over past seasons, in that time we have won the league twice and the most prestigious trophy in club football.

roar our team on and stop thinking of the fecking score line.

Not really looking forward to this match, as weird as it may sound. Citeh scare me.

No reason for United to fear City, none at all, but if we don't start putting chances away we will pay the price. We have not done the business away from home in crunch games this season, apart from being unlucky to only draw at Chelsea. We have picked up one point from nine against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, not title winning form by any standard, we really need to win on Sunday, not because it's City, but because we are already 8 points behind and can't afford to let that gap widen, especially with our trip to Japan coming up.

where will the goals come from ?

This is true, with Ronaldo not smashing them in in the same regularity as last season we really needed the others to step up to the plate and contribute.

Something they really arent doing.

We'll win on Sunday though.

Eh?

6 goals in 9 league starts and one substitute appearance last season compared to 8 in 9 league starts and one substitute appearance this season.
