Manchester City vs. Manchester United

Giggs should be taken off, they're having too much joy down our left side.

Lindegaard
Jones - Smalling - Ferdinand - Evra
Schoes

We look nervous! City are a far superior team than us and it looks like the players know it.

Are you fecking serious? Do you realise that Nasri has been on all game and can you tell me what he's done? The only player threatening from City is Aguero and even he looks dejected at times.

Have to say City are handling it better than we did a couple of months ago. They reorganized at the back, making it as tight as possible, then try to get goals and get back into the game, rather than go gung ho about it.

Yeah, it's almost as if they're the ones with multiple league titles and European Finals under their belt and we're the mercenaries.

Why can't we just keep it simple? Stop passing cross field on the half way line

If it finishes like this this is a psychological victory for City. Being 3-0 down at half time and managing to almost pull it back...They'll take this as there being no real difference between us with 11 and them with 10.

Nonsense.

evra and rio are in obvious decline

fergie's decision making has been poor today - scholes is clearly not ready and anderson? why not park?

No matter how it ends, it feels like it will be a moral victory for City. Primarily because Fergie has totally screwed this one up by trying to rub it in too early and City have offered a better fightback than we could at OT. We might get away with it but as soon as Scholes came on and our fans started cheering passes like it was a Scholes testimonial I feared the worst.

And in a season when complacency has been our worst enemy...

2nd best. really?
One from a freekick and one defensive lapse from our throw in.
Doesnt matter. Just the scoreline does.
But claiming we are being outplayed or have been 2nd best is silly.

Obviously would expect better against 10 men.
But not being much better != being second best.

Whatever. City have a better squad than us. Just shows that we manage to keep up with them plastic club.

Jones has been horrible to say the least.

Scholes has just made one mistake so far and unfortunately we paid for it.

Otherwise he has been very good.

I'm delighted we are leading but our first goal came out of no where, City had us all back in our own box until Kompany was unfairly sent off. If this was 11 v 11 I think we would have got beat easily.

Our players look very nervous against a 10 man side. That's all.

Scholes has played some blinders at shitlands down the years, I reckon Fergie wanted us to keep the ball and dominate possession so brought him on.

Spot on. Their danger has come from our complacency, not of their own creation.
