Manchester City vs. Manchester United

City have our number.
Away at the Etihad too.. Anything is a bonus

Am I being too pessimistic?

Chelsea had our number for ten years in the PL at the bridge. All runs come to an end.

No need to be careful with Val and Clev, after this it's 6 days to Sunderland at home and 14 today to the next game after.

That line up makes me wet with excitement, really pumped up for this now. Come on United!

Yes.. But Chelsea arent the same team they were a few years back. We werent getting outplayed by them anymore and it was a matter of time..

City are much stronger.

We just seem to struggle against some teams.. and this City side is one.
Low expectations will probably make this an easier watch.. or not.

Hart,
Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy,
Y Toure, Barry,
Nasri, Silva, Aguero,
Balotelli

City have been far shitter this year, Toure especially doesn't look arsed. If we play anything close to our best we'll win this.

So Fergie's gone 4-4-2 and Valencia and Young are on the wings.. yet there is excitement on the Caf like he's pulled a tactical masterstroke? bemused, especially after the stick our wingers and that formation has been getting recently.

Anyway, both teams are not particularly mind-blowing this year and are poor defensively, logically would expect a gluttony of goals .. just hope RVP does what he usually does!

I reckon we should put the Champions League badges on our shirts. It will scare the shit out of them!

Im lookin at Pundit Brucey at the moment. Am I in the right channel?

Steve Bruce? What the shit is this?

It's not a 4-4-2 when Rooney plays. It's been obvious and yet people continue to state again and again.

Apart from the 6-1 they havent really ever outplayed us since the oil era began. We were shit last season in the 1-0 away defeat but City didnt do much more than us and won via a setpiece.

I am expected a real performance from our lads today. My major worry is the defence. I expect us to get at least a draw.

No tactical masterstroke but everyone thought both Clec and Valencia were injured. Arent you happy its going to be those 2 instead of Scholes in CM and Welbeck on the right? Or worse still, Rooney on the right?

4-4-1-1 it is. Or the shite called 4-2-3-1 with people saying it even when Park was a winger.

Just feck off
Once again is it confirmed that cleverley won't play????

BBC said he was having a scan yesterday. Not heard anything since then.

Rumours abound that he trained with first team in last day or two...

Doubt we'll risk him tbh.

You sir just cost me some points in the line up game. Edited him out 10 minutes before the deadline. United better win today now.

Anyways, exciting line up. 2-1 united

Fergie you devil.

Valencia always plays like superman after coming back from an injury, lets hope that continues.

9/11 for me in line ups game. I'm satisfied

I know that its more a 4-2-3-1.. especially with Carrick and Cleverley as a 'double-pivot', or 4-4-1-1, or even 4-3-3... depending on the situation of the game, whether we're in possession or not etc - just saying, its not like this is a brand new lineup and was pleasantly surprised/bemused at why most people are like 'woah' good ole Fergie etc when they've been critical most of the season.

Anyway, just glad we've got 11 guys out on the pitch who can all run and should be full of energy.. glad he's left Scholes on the bench to bring on once the game slows down abit.

Cleverley will be on Toure, Carrick on Silva and Rooney will spend a lot of time closing down Barry. If we can nullify them in the middle (a big if), the game will be won or lost in the battle between our wingers and their fullbacks.

Lindegaard has been given maternity leave , his mrs has gone into labour, i am hoping he takes his full maternity leave entitlement

We are setting Tony V loose then, nice. He has a stare that terrifies the most hardened men and a shot that could kill a man.

Things look interesting. Valencia and Cleverley starting, has really turned on the mood.

People are mostly surprised as Clev and Tony are starting. Especially since Ferguson said that Valencia is two weeks out.

Quality team. I can't really fault the team, if we don't win then it'll be cos we didn't perform to the best of our abilities.
