Very good half. We'll inevitably concede at some point in the second half. It's important that when we do we don't continue to sit back and invite pressure like we did in the Chelsea game when we threw our advantage away after a similar start.

My one complaint so far was Balotelli deliberately standing on Evans' hamstring and getting away Scott free. We've been immense.

Wow. That was fantastic. Our best half of the season so far. Rio, Rafael and Young have been fantastic. We really do look a much much better team when we play without Scholes or Giggs. Just so much more fluid, more energetic and more like a team tbh. We just looked so controlled, so totally in control of the situation. Something I cant say I've seen much that often recently. Everyone seemed to know what there job was, and they were doing it.
Saying that, I wouldn't bet against us still throwing this away somehow, simply because I don't think this team has the same mentality as some of our great teams down the years. But I also wouldn't bet against us scoring again either.

He came across like a dick to be fair. The Real Madrid game he was at fault for 2 of the 3 goals and never got punished for a couple other mistakes. To come and do an interview like Johnny Bravo after being a big part of the blame doesn't look good. He should have been more humble and said they have a lot to learn and praised Madrid.

It's still in the balance, no doubt, but a tactically spot on performance so far. They have had no answer for our width and we have packed the middle to force them out when they have the ball.
