C'mon lads!

Feeling surprisingly confident about this match, going for 3-1 United.

It's not Valencia's tucking in that's the problem. He has failed to deliver in possession far to often that's the concern

No doubt and given that it makes him constantly staying wide pointless, rafael can give the width on the right and provide at least the same service as we're getting there anyway, there's no need to have two players in the same area when there's no real benefit from him. Valencia tucking in though gives us a bit extra strength in the middle and with his pace/strength he can potentially help us advance forward with the ball there. I'm not saying he should always be inside but I'd prefer him mixing it up then always being wide in his current form.

True but he's also regressed from last season where he was much better in his link up play. A lot of heavy touches from him and didn't get his head up quickly enough when support did arrive.

Heavy touches are a result of infrequent first team football.

I thought Fletcher has been pretty good since coming back. Definitely a bit more inventive with his passing than Cleverley.

He has been good, but its also worth remembering everyone else has been pretty shit, especially this in his position.

feck it I am going to go over optimistic. We will smash them 5-0.

#Believe

He didn't have anyone coming towards our midfield/backline to receive the ball.
Welbeck played deeper, which is the problem with playing Hernandez, it means Welbeck doesn't get to lead the line, which is his best position. Kagawa-Welbeck makes more sense than Welbeck-Hernandez and sticking Kagawa wide, I'm amazed it's taken us so long to try.

Fletcher and Carrick have never played well together. Static slow awful football.

Yeah, I mean they were only the combination when we destroyed Roma 7-1 and played some of the best football we've played under Fergie.

That a response to something he said or just a general observation?

Bit of both. There's just something about the way he talks. It's like he's describing football to someone who has never seen any football in their life before. He also seemed to imply that United fans didn't know anything about Januzaj until he scored that goal against Sunderland.

Richard Keys makes me watch to punch my screen...then kick him in the face.

Valencia plays his best football with Rafael at full back.

Perhaps he thinks that the viewers football knowledge is in line with his own.

I don't think leading the line is Welbeck's best position. He naturally often ends up in similar positions to Rooney, between the lines. In the current line up, I'd have a fluid three of Januzaj, Kagawa and Welbeck between the lines behind Hernandez.

Why are the United players the ones who have to move to shake hands and not Swansea?

Reckon Valencia will have a good game and return to his earlier season form which was pretty good.

This is a big game

With all due respect for Valencia... any winger would have an easier time of it if you have a fullback like Rafa creating space inside and outside of you and still getting back to defend.

What happened to vorm and michu? Can't remember them playing much this season.

Kagawa on the left it seems. feck sake, this was a great opportunity just to let him play in his position. But assume him and Januzaj will rotate a lot

I'm all for a player like Cleverley and home boys coming through. But to play a player like him instead of a player like Kagawa is just stupidity! Today we will probably see results from having quality (top european quality) in the line up. I am 100% sure we win this by 2-3 goals.

Richard Keys makes me watch to punch my screen...then kick him in the face.

I used to like listening to the PL preview on Talksport on Friday night, Sam Matterface used to to it. Then god help us they put Keys and Gray on it. Keys is just a smarmy know all.
