Define playing all over us on our ground.
As I have said, the quality of possession is more important than the quantity. One incisive pass to open up the defense beats ten to-and-fro passes in the middle of nowhere.
I would think that the team that created more/better goalscoring opportunities had the upper hand in the game and deserves to get a result.

Scholes has not featured for United since the 1-0 victory over Rangers in the Champions League last month and now Ferguson believes the veteran is a doubt to face the Gunners.

The former England star was expected to feature in United’s 1-1 draw against Valencia on Tuesday, but after a setback in training the United boss feels that he will not be able to call upon the influential midfielder.

"Paul tried training on Sunday and came off," Ferguson told MUTV.

"He will be doubtful for next Monday."

I still think that we're gonna use that type of formation like we played against Spurs at WHL Last season.
 
For some reason I think we're gunna play that 442 ish system with Rooney and Berbatov up front and Park from the left but really playing quite centrally.

Well Wenger said he was uncertain about Cesc before the Chelsea game, and he didn't play. So he might play, but there's a higher chance he won't. We can live without him though, Wenger's established a way of playing without him in the side, and we're almost as good now.

If Chelsea lose on Sunday, I'll definitely want a win out of the game - we could go well clear of them, should we win on Monday, and then by some miracle we beat them at the Emirates.

You will above that nowhere above does the word 'doubtful' mean that it is impossible, so SAF never said that Scholes would not play, but that there is a chance that he might not play.

Yes 4-4-2. Reckon SAF will stick with the Berba-Rooney pairing upfront. Anderson is coming into form, Carrick complements him well and his positioning will be critical towards checking opposition runs from midfield (a key feature of Arsenal's playing style). Park always seem to play well against Arsenal and he can tuck in when needed, offering us greater tactical flexibility.

Their back five is their soft underbelly and susceptible to high tempo attacking pressure. I would go for a more direct style with Berbatov leading a high line and Rooney having free rein to drop off and link up with Nani, Park and Anderson.

United are unbeaten in the last 5 meetings, winning 4.

I wouldn't call that close at all.

That was my first thought as well, but then I started thinking about how Fletch generally dominates the Arsenal midfield. I just hope Fergie doesn't go with a Fletch-Ando combination as the attacking midfielders in the Arsenal line-up will find themselves with quite a bit of space at times. Carrick really needs to play with one, or both, of them.

What I meant by saying it was close was that the results have been close. IE - we haven't lost 3-0 or something at Old Trafford - they've been by the odd goal, mainly. Our performances away from the Emirates against you are actually better than they are at home. We've played well against you, and it's about time we converted it into meaningful points.

And yes, the last top team we played away from home we lost, but you might count Man City as a top team now, and we did win that one.

Well I think Bryan Munich was referring to a top four side, and regardless of what you win, I still think City could be in that bracket. But obviously, it's neither here nor there - our record against the top clubs hasn't been good enough recently, and it's time that changed.

I don't understand this obsession with a top 4 in the Premier League. The last half a decade has shown the PL has a big 2 - United & Chelsea.

I honestly can't remember, but the fact remains that Wenger always used to say he's doubtful and he was always fit to play. Now, it's Fabregas.

Yes, but there was a gap between the top 4 and everyone else. Now, you can argue there were two tiers of the top four, but it's not to say that the top 4 weren't ahead of the rest.

And who cares about Henry's supposed injuries before United games? The bitterness is ridiculous.

Less than twenty percent for me. Wenger won't play him unless he's actually fit to play. He won't risk losing him for multiple games for the sake of Monday.
