Good half from us. Need to be ruthless in the second half. Rafael Valencia combo gives us the width on the right. Rooney needs to know we are playing in red. Stop passing to the opponent

Seriously? What an absolute Paul Scholes masterclass of a half.
Scholes is the most complete central midfielder I can think of. He makes everything seem laughably easy. His technique at almost all parts of the game are spot on. And he seems to have gotten better in the tackle in recent years.

I like how his awareness is on a different level to everyone else.The little body adjustments he makes when receiving a ball after taking into account the opponent's pressure is what gives him this fraction of advance.He literally sees things before they happen
