Manchester United v Crawley Town

Get in!

And if he scores the winner or multiple goals and has a good day, people will still think his United career is finished.

If Carrick, O'Shea, Anderson and the rest have bad games, they're not done are they?

How many bad games is Gibson going to get away with?
Carrick O'Shea and Anderson have all played well in big games, Gibson on the other hand still needs to prove himself. The last few games Gibson has played he has actually been awful.

Was hoping for a bench with more youngsters, seems like Fergie is playing very safe today

Well, we might make hard work of this. We usually do against the lower league teams but im excited to see some of the fringe players given a chance again. Hopefully they impress this time around.

Reckon King and Tunnicliffe will get a run out at some point. Pogba is probably still not ready.

Don't be silly, again

I actually agree with Scholesy for the first time ever.

Ferguson has decided he's a striker now according to a recent press release and lets be honest his crossing is appalling. If he can come in from the left he could release that wicked shot of his.

The Doom Merchants won't be impressed if he gets Man of the Match today.

When United played Scunthorpe this season he was one of the most impressive players (alongside Owen and Park) and saved the team from embarrasment in that game, with his quick goal and an assist later in that game.

All action player and he has a tremendous engine. On the ball, I am not 100% sure but confident, sometimes he impresses me, others he is sloppy.

are you on drugs? He's not sloppy at all. He's very tidy with his play. I don't mean to be rude, you're entitled to your opinions but you seem to go out of your way to say something out there. You're talking about a kid. Even the greats need to iron out kinks but sloppy? Do you have any examples of this cause I can't think of any?

He needs to put in a MOTM performance today otherwise he will be out this summer...

Wenger has said that Walcott isnt able to play on the wing. He's now playing on the wing, and quite well. So well that Scholesy thinks he's the English Pedro.

Of course he can come good on the wing, yeah he's overhit a lot of crosses. He's also put in a few good crosses. It needs work for sure, but at the end of the day all he needs to do is be more relaxed when he crosses the ball and reduce the contact. Its not as if over several seasons, a player cant improve these things

Christ the game hasn't even start yet and some people are giving Gibbo grief, change the fecking record.

I think Gibson is further away from ultimatum terriortory than you think.

He's not a bad player, if he wasn't avaliable last season United would not have a Carling Cup and certainly would've struggled to come second or a point away from Chelsea.

Abit disappointed Berbatov is not involved today after not starting against City

Looks like we'll play with 2 strikers in Marseille

He's fairly 2 footed, if you'd watched him.

And if you'd watched him you'd see he still favours his right foot in much the same way that despite being completely two footed, Nani likes to shoot with his left but rarely crosses with it even when on the left wing, even when playing on the right and cutting inside he likes to get it on his right foot. So I would call him predominantly right footed, not "fairly 2 footed".

That's beside the point anyway, I'm talking about him not playing wide right but in more of an inside left position just in behind Hernandez.

Great to see Pogba on the bench.Gives him a bit of first team experience, doubt he will get a game unless we're comfortably in the lead
