Another attempt to play Rio in midfield :nervous:

Emre & Parker will dominate the midield, hopefully our wingers & forwards will be in great form.

vds
gaz--rio--brown--silvestre
ronnie--sheasy--fletch--giggs
rooney
ruud

4-0 - ruud (2) (that'll be 150 career goals at utd!!) and ronaldo, giggs

i usually look forward to newcastle games as they tend to never cose any fecker down and just let us play, and we then return the favour which means lots of goals and very entertaining stuff

however, roeder has certainly had an effect on them and while i still think we'll win i think it'll be a lot more physical than usual, shearer will elbow 10 out of our 11 players (rooney being the exception as poppins is scared of him)

Ruud has to play for me, he has a wonderful record against them and with ronnie in such good form he's bound to get plenty of chances.

i'll go 2-0 with both goals from ruud, the second coming very late on

Always look forward to playing the Barcodes. They feel they're on there way up and will make it tough for us .But i can see us getting a result.

VDS
Neville - Brown - Rio - Silvestre
Ronaldo - O'Shea - Fletcher - Park
Rooney - Ruud

Subs:
Howard
Saha
Giggs
Evra
Vidic

3-1

This will be much harder than some of you think in my opinion. 1-1

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Silvestre, Ronaldo, O'Shea, Giggs, Park, Rooney, Saha

Subs: Howard, Evra, van Nistelrooy, Vidic, Rossi

Newcastle: Given, Ramage, Boumsong, Elliott, Babayaro, Solano, Parker, Emre, N'Zogbia, Ameobi, Shearer

feck i know Saha is on form, but Ruud once again on bench...
:nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

We're playing the same team for three matchs in a row (for the first time in how many years?) and people still aren't happy!

Finally, Rossi gets a place on the bench.

I really think we needed a couple of changes to the line-up after the last game against Wigan, so its a bit worrying to see the same line-up once again.

Help the media, why don't you.

it has nothing to do with that, but now im more worried, since there is no reason to bench ruud. the final was understandable, then he dropped out of the holland match due to stomach issues, he wasnt fit for the match after that but ended up on the bench. benching him now ? it seems like there´s something going on
