Yeah, it's ridiculous. I believe it's to protect the clubs in the lower leagues. If every PL game was on the TV, then the theory is that people would stop bothering going to watch lower league footy.

in a free market, manchester united should be able to broadcast their own games via a football stream on their pay monthly website , for the benefit of the 3000 fans locked out every week and also the fans who cannot make the journey through logistics!!!
