First question.

How will we deal with Delaps throws and do you think they'll trouble us? We've looked suspect in the air recently.

Need Brown in there for his extra height. Should continue with the Berbooney partnership too. Anderson isn't on form at the mo so maybe Fletcher in his place if fit.

If no Brown then it most likely will be O'Shea there, Neville went off against QPR with a groin injury lets hope it's not too bad. I think Fergie would prefer O'Shea's height to Rafael.

So basically you're leaving Carrick to control the pace of the game completely on his own and do all of the defensive work.

We will need a tall defence to handle the Delapidator. Hopefully Fletcher will be fit for this game as well because we have missed him in our side. Its important to get back to winning ways after our last Premier League game. No mercy on Stoke and no excuses. We have to make sure we finish our chances this time.

yea pretty much...only delap to be aware of ..and thats throw ins...our defence is tall enough...

plus just want to see united batter someone....although i hope its liverpool at ot ..cant wait that long..

O'Shea will play against Stoke. Mark my words! We need his strength and height to take out those pesky throws. We might play him at rightback and sacrifice our attacking outlet just to be safe.
 
We're conceding a few recently and I am not all that confident with VDS' recent spate of flapping. 4-2, put yer money on it

With respect mate thats an awful team. When we play 433 ideally we have Carrick Scholes Fletcher all available. Hargreaves and Anderson aswell can play that role in a 433 but Ronnie and Nani you'd need Roy Keane and Essien combined to do the donkey work for those 2.

People are talking about Delap and his throw-in way too much.

Brown for Rafael purely for defending against it? No thanks. They'll park the bus (2 buses according to Bruce) so we need as much attacking flair as possible.
