Manchester United v Stoke City

I'd like to see both Tevez & Rooney start again - doubt it'll happen somehow.

Hoping for a good return from injury from Carrick though.

Possibly Wes in at RB to help deal with the long throws?

United has got to try and defend aginst the "Delap throw".
and beat them with counter attack.
How? Use the correct tactics. Stoke will send all their tall players into United box whenever they have free kicks and throw -ins. United should use 3 centre-backs with height and play with 2 wing backs that has speed to catch out the slow Stoke defenders that will be in United box.
Heres the line up that will be advantageous to United:

VDS

Brown(if fit) Rio Vidic
Evans

Rafael Evra

Carrick Anderson

Ronaldo Tevez Rooney(if fit)
Berbatov

Unfortunately - as formatted without the 'quoting' facility you would appear to be fielding 13 players instead of providing Brown/Evans and Rooney/Berbatov options.

It is about time we twatted someone.

6-1 for me...

I completely agree, United are bound to explode sooner or later and hopefully it is a big fecking explosion to help the goal difference

Some of you lot make it sound like Delap's throws are going to take Stoke in to Europe. Sure it's worked a few times, but christ, it's not something you would change your formation and players to deal with.

Jacob's prediction

Line-up:

Rafael-------Ferdinand-------Vidic---------Evra
Ronaldo------Anderson------Carrick--------Park
--------------Rooney-------Berbatov----------

Score: Manchester United 5 - 0 Stoke

I would go with that side but start Nani instead of Park, and may the demolition ensue

we'll tonk the cnuts 4-0...feck the long throw, they won't have the ball in our half to even get a throw, Stoke WILL park the bus, we'll punish the twats. Stoke play shit football, have a wanker of a manager with one tactic and their fans are deviants.

We haven't truly annihilated an opposition side for years so it seems.

Let's just hope we take some of our bloody chances.

I like others sould like to see Ronney-Tevez return to favour at least a few times before the New Year but are not full of hope.

I think that someone is due a real spanking. We are creating a hell of alot at this moment in time, I have a feeling that it will be like Roma and everything will just fly in 5 or 6 I reckon.

I think we're due a demolition. Have we scored more than 3 in one PL game yet?

Why not? To be fair no matter which 11 players we put out there, they'd be more than a class above Stoke.

Hull doesn't count, we conceded fecking three goals. No demolition there

Id like to see rooney get a goal to rekindle his great form that i can see dissapearing.
Oh and as many would give my right testy for an anderson goal.

The last time I rememer these teams playing Shilton was in goal for city I think. I was about 6. Just thought I'd put a bit of giberish into the thread seeing as nobody else has so far.

MUTV:

VDS

O'Shea
Evans
Vidic
Evra

Ronaldo
Fletcher
Carrick
Park

Berbatov
Tevez

Welbeck and Manucho on bench

The game will be recorded at home, but I'd like to see it live from work.

Can someone please PM me with a stream?

where's Rio and Rooney, at least this keep tevez happy. why is sheasy starting ahead of Rafael???

it think there is the game against villarreal to come in fergie thoughts.

Glad Evans is playing but why Oshea? I know they have a threat from throwings but Rafeal deserves the nod over him.
