Manchester United v Stoke City

That team or any slight variant has the makings of what is required with the opposition today, as in every other game of recent times it's our end product which will determine all, and we won't know this until we get out there.

O'Shea has been playing well, ditto Fletch, so their inclusion should ne bo concernfor people IMO. I might've liked to see Giggs somewhere in the match squad but Park brings a greater calm in terms of decision making when compared to Nani currently and should better the functioing of the wider team.

It is also good to see Tevez start another game on the spin, and hopefully this will reduce the likelihood of him snatching at opportunities which he has done on occasion [feeling pressured perhaps].

As long as Berba holds up his end, we shouldn't be lacking on the attitude front.

5-0 We're gonna turn on the style and not before time!

Good to see Rooney dropped in this game. He's not been up to scratch the past couple of games. Hope Tevez takes this opportunity to shine.

Welbeck and Manucho on the bench. This pleases me immensely. :boring: I hope Manucho especially makes his first Premier League appearance. We have all waited so long to see him play more games.

Now we have injuries but the team is overall quite strong. We need a good performance against Stoke to ensure we dont fall further behind. Nothing less than a win will do.

When was this then ?.I hope He has a good game today and much less worried about Him at full back though.

Just a general theme really i suppose, but you reckon not eh? *shrugs* :D Not a lot i can say to that, be poitive!

The game doesn't revolve around Delap throwing. O'Shea might be tall but he's not exactly a beast in the air. Plus, we're bound to have more of the ball in this game, alot of it hopefully in the attacking third and Rafa will be better suited in that situation.

spot on trippin,It's the general theme with Home games. We need to attack them well and offer something extra going forward which nulifies most threat the other way.

Which is why we shouldn't risk having an attacking inexperienced right back in the side when Stoke have an aerial threat. Why allow them back in the game by having a short brazilian in defense? I'm all for giving Rafael games, but this game has O'Shea written all over it. Best to be safe than sorry, lets not underestimate Stoke like Arsenal did.

Hes gone for the 2 def mids i was sceptical about before due to a lack of attacking creativity from there. well see.

All I'm saying is that there might only be certain times when O'Shea is useful. But in the grand scheme of things I think Rafael is the better option.

I fully expect O'Shea to play a blinder now I've made my doubts about him known.

Come on Tevez!

Good team, Ronaldo to get his 100th goal for us and then sign a £170 billion a week deal with a loyalty bonus for every day he doesn't dream of Madrid.

Manucho to come on, score a diving header that breaks the net

I don't doubt that, Rafael should be 2nd choice RB just behind Brown imo. O'Shea is very much 4th behind Neville. But the cat is designed for a match like this. It's the right tactical move to make, the obvious choice really.

If i'm honest, i'm more concerned about our strikers scoring.
