going to be tough, although I wish they collasped against us like they did against newcastle....

Recent results between the two at OT

02/03 Utd (Beckham & Scholes) 2-1 Sunderland (Veron OG)
05/06 Utd 0-0 Sunderland
07/08 Utd (Saha) 1-0 Sunderland
08/09 Utd (Vidic) 1-0 Sunderland
09/10 Utd (Berbatov & Ferdinand OG) 2-2 Sunderland (Bent & Jones)

In all 5 games we've had to score late to get a result, dont know what is with Sunderland at home :nervous:

I hope Smalling plays in one of our next two league games. He deserves it to be honest. He should get more experience playing in the league. I think he could be useful in the ten days after Christmas because we have four games during that span.

We could drop points in both the upcoming games, especially as Chelsea's cowardice may have caused us to lose momentum

The Saha one in 07/08 wasn't long after HT I think. Certainly the last 2 have been heart attack inducing. Their defence has been really good this season too, hopefully an early goal can ease the tension as they'll fancy their chances if level at HT.

It was midway through the second half. A header iirc..
keano was their manager

The game in 02/03 were one of the most exciting. We had everything against them, but two late goals saved us. We had something like 31-2 in chances, but Jurgen Macho had the game of his life.

Just heard M Owen is match fit and will be available for the sunderland game
Owen-Chica upfront :nervous:

Eh the game is live on Sky..............but on Sky-Sports Germany. :D

And the other games at 3.00 pm in a conference switching. :D
Oh, that's great - I remember this being done in 2008 as well! People looked at me when I told them that I was going to watch football saying ''who bloody plays on Boxing Day?''

What's this then. Have I logged on to an NFL forum?

I don't know if you know about espnstar.com. It is based in Singapore I think with John Dykes, Mason, Sheeby Singh, Andrew Leci etc. as pundits. They call it Premiership Saturday and Super Sunday. I think they cover places all over Asia like India, Indonesia, China, Singapore etc.

So when do we hear team news on this one then? i dont see Sir alex doing a presser on xmas eve?

No you are actually very right. There is a thread on all the players who would have missed the Chelsea game if it wasn't postponed.
