You can't be having Kane vs Shaw in the air to be fair and Varane is quite slow now but Kane was never quick. Hope he plays well and gets himself back in the team but suspect could be a drubbing.

Mainoo and Hannibal are both options that could be utilised in the right system. Yes Hannibal is wild at times, but he won't allow the opposition to just play unchecked and more importantly would bust a gut to get back into position. I've watched McTominay enough times to know he doesn't do that and won't do that tonight. He'll do his usual jogging back to position, so basically all defensive work is on Amrabat who will no doubt get a lot of shit from the fans when he struggles to contain Bayern by his own.

All Bayern need to do is have Kane drop deep between defense and midfield and we're boned as he's got more than enough skill and technical ability to pick out willing runners who will have a free pass to go at our defense. They won't piss around this time either. They'll finish us ruthlessly. I'm resigned to it these days though, that numb feeling of knowing you're about to get boned by a proper team. Sigh.
