Manchester United vs. Blackburn Rovers

agree, just wanted to ask. Fergie seems to play 4-3-3 sometimes.

Hope for:

VDS
Wes Rio Vida Evra
Ron Owen Anderson Ryan
Tevez Saha

i would say 451, but i've seen so wicked arguments about that and it seemed to come down to accepting that we have a flowing formation that changes constantly and cannot be pinned down. when i think 433 i think 3 strikers and giggs just isn't that for me.

--------------VDS-----------------

Brown------RIo---Vida---------Evra

Ronaldo--Andershow--Carrick---Giggs

--------------------Tevez----------

-------------Saha------------------
As simple as that. I hope Fergie plays this team, Nani or Fletch can come on for Saha if he isnt fit enough to play 90 mins

this pathetic jumping on the anti 433 band wagon really makes me cringe...

I'll be very surprised if Giggs doesn't start upfront with Tevez. I don't think Saha is up to starting nor will he be.

I reckon Hargreaves was rested mid-week with this game in mind.

I'd prefer Carrick, but I reckon that is what Fergie's thinking.

What about Carrick/Hargreaves combo...

Would you be pleased with that or still not because Anderson isnt playing?

Anderson's earnt his place in the side over the past few weeks, and Carrick looked sharp against Arsenal and Kiev. Hargreaves has not, i'm afraid. Hargreaves might be a handy option towards the end to shut up shop, if needed.

He's still a quality player mind, and i'd be confident about a win even if he started. Just my 2 cents. It'll be either Carrick or Anderson alongside Hargreaves IMO. Hopefully I eat my words in 20 minutes. :wenger:

Based on what exactly?

Agreed, though as was said a post or two back, i think we may very well see both. That'w what i predicted in my line up anyway. lol :)

I don't understand why Sky or Setanta can't employ a viewers choice thing like we have in Australia. We've got every Premier League game tonight, live.

TV Rights.

FA and PL reckon it would impact badly on attendances at smaller matches, who's going to watch Leyton Orient Vs Port Vale when they can watch Manchester United Vs Arsenal?

The same people who would had United vs Arsenal not been on TV... Orient and Vale fans :smirk:

Great line-up, all as expected IMO.

Nani must be thinking he needs a hat-trick of goals and assists to get a consistent first team spot.

At the start of the season I never anticipated Ferguson would be starting Anderson over Carrick so quickly. He really is a tremendous talent.

Very good lineup. In fact, SAF is having trouble picking any lineup that makes me annoyed and/or nervous.

What a great squad we have.

Yeah, i am well aware of thsoe quotes, none of thiwhc back up your PoV, and current circumstances all the more so.

Now i was sceptical of the above article anyway, but regardless of that, i don't think anyone is suggesting that he cannot start at least some games for us this season.

Fair enough then ;)

Blackburn have a strong team. Should be a good test for us.

Good line-up and good that Fergie plays a 4-4-2. I personally would have preferred Carrick over Hargreaves though
