Manchester United vs. Chelsea - 26/11/2006 (16:00)

it´s such a strange feeling before this game, for the past years when we go into such a big game we´ve always been behind by like 8-10 points and it´s all if we don´t win the gap will be 13 p or we can get it down to 5 p now we are on top just very odd. But i´ve always got the faith i think Louis will score the winner.

P.s i hope Drogba gets Vidiced !

I think even if we start off with a 4-4-2 on paper, we'll see Giggs playing a very central role, thereby making it in effect more like a 4-3-3.
At the end of the day, the performance of the team as a whole is going to be what decides the outcome, not tactics. The defense can't be leaking goals like they did at Stamford Bridge last season - Vidic is going to have a tough test against Drogba. The midfield needs to work harder than they've done this season, and will need plenty of support from the wingers and Rooney to help out. And the strikers need to take their chances when they come, because unlike against the likes of Sheff Utd, we're not going to be getting dozens of goalscoring opportunities.
And since we're at home, the fans need to take full advantage of that and sing louder than they've done all season.

All depends on when the first goal comes. And for all the flack he has taken and how some have turned on him, oh let Louis be one of the scorers.

As much sympathy as I have for this view I think that whoever finishes ahead of Chelsea will win it. So... allez les Mancs (you've got more French players than us these days). Unfortunately I reckon that the only way for Man Utd to win is to play 422 with the risk of being overrun in CM, I don't think they'll go for it but a 451 means slow death or draw at best.
