Manchester United vs Chelsea

He can't play as a combative midfielder with a hint of playmaker thrown in either.

while it may be a bizare selection giggs is one of the best defenders in the team. he always tracks back and rarely puts a foot wrong whilst in defence.

He will put in a good game which is more then we can say about scholes and andersons display against derby.

i trust the gaffer

Ok then :wenger:

No Rio, 4-4-2 with Giggs & Fletch, at least it won't be the team Chelsea were expecting us to put out.

This definitely looks bad on paper I'll say that...

Needless to say I'm going to keep the faith that Fergie knows what he's doing with this team selection.

If this turns out horrible though I really don't know what to say...

He's the manager, I'm not.

We always seem to finish weakly against Chelsea, perhaps Fergie want's to ride our luck a bit first half and see how things go, then bring on one of the midfielders so we finish stronger this time.

Dunno.

Right come on, doesn't matter who's playing - and look at those strikers we have on the pitch. Old Trafford takes over now, we have a great chance if the atmosphere's right.

Except when he does he costs us a goal at Anfield...

odd midfield combo to say the least

someone in need of bricks? 'cause I'm shitting quite the amount atm

The caf has long been of the opinion that as awesome as Carrick is he's not that good at asserting himself against stronger midfields like Chelsea's. Perhaps SAF has reached the same conclusion. Last season Anderson did the job at Arsenal and Liverpool but he's been poor of late.

lets hope we get an early goal, our average first goal is about 40 mins this season, i think chelseas is 27 minutes

I think it is a good team
Giggs' final ball is second to none...
I am not worried.. We will thrash them

paddy paddy paddy

My guess: Manchester United 3 - 0 Chelsea (Fletcher x3)
