Manchester United vs. Coventry City [Carling Cup]

I might have a stream available for the match, I'll let anyone who wants to know through pm if it does show it. I won't know if it's actually showing the game, until 5 minutes before kick-off, so don't get your hopes up.

If you could pm me a link if you get any I`d be very grateful.

Dong's not really selling shirts for us. He's hardly a sensation in China. I know Chinese fans who hadn't even heard of him.

They cant be that fanatical since he regularly makes the Chinese national team.

And yet Brown and Carrick are both on the bench

How does this make even the slightest amount of sense?

As said, this is not exactly the most gentle of teams. If Saha is being eased back into the team, throwing him out against a Championship team keen to rough us around a bit doesn't make the slightest amount of sense.

Agreed. He got boo'ed when he came on as a subsitute for China national team in China, apparently because people reckon he's shit yet Dong reckons he's awesome just 'cos he plays for United.

I'm not suprised by the starting XI tonight, I don't think Fergie has played Anderson anywhere but the supporting striker role so far. I am suprised with the bench somewhat though, would have thought Rooney would at least make the bench. He's obviously eager to play and it's better to have a player who can change a game if things do go bad for us, even if it's just the Carling Cup.

I was told that he's only recently made his national side debut while he's been with us for a couple of seasons now. Which is why he didn't get the work permit and had to go to Belgium.

Just seen the line up

Was going to avoid knowing the score and stay up late to watch it on MUTV.

feck that now though

If Saha is so in need of games then why does he never fecking play?

Hold on, you're not going to watch the game because you're not happy with the strikers we're playing?

Massive.

He's got thirteen caps I think and he started getting picked when he was at Antwerp. I'm sure being signed by United did plenty to raise his profile in China and possibly helped him to get his debut... but the 35 goals for Antwerp probably helped too.

What would people say if Saha got injured today??
He is far to valuable to risk against Hull, we have a mojor game against Roma next week and we cant afford him to have another injury. Let him play 45 min on the weekend then play the full 90 against Roma. I hope our youth team does well, esp Simpson.

Piqué has already been written of by some because he appears to be slow, I hope thats not the case.

Still no sign of the stream, anyone fancy watching 'Bordeaux - Metz' instead?

I can't be arsed reading the rest of the thread but according to this thread it's not on live. My arse it's not. I just flicked on MUTV and they're showing the lineup......unless they shut it off just before kick off, which would be very very gay

theres no tv coverage for it anywhere it seems...setanata is going to show on delay in the US

So MUTV is showing it, cant someone who has MUTV load it up for us so that we can watcht it via stream?

How is it that I can see videos of Tupac apparently alive each week, but I can't see a fecking United game?

Someone said on Al Jazeera Sports 2, not sure if that's true though. So there should be a stream for that, FFS, we're living in the year 2007!!! I want to see our boys!!!
