BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE
26 March 2012
KO 20:00 BST
Old Trafford

Monday?? I thought the match will be shifted back to sunday.

Its a standard Monday night game, most of the time there is one. this time it is us.

Shock horror!!!!

QPR in between Blackburn and Wigan?

We have 3 Monday games in a row?

Sorry I was wrong.

Wigan was originally down for a Monday night game, but due to the QPR game being played on Sunday 8th April we now face Wigan on Wednesday 11th.

So it is only Fulham and Blackburn, two in a row on Monday nights.

Monday 26th March - United v Fulham
Monday 2nd April - Blackburn v United
Sunday 8th April - United v QPR
Wednesday 11th April - Wigan v United
Sunday 15th April - United v Villa

------------De Gea----------

Rafael----Rio-------Evans-----Evra

Valencia--Carrick---Cleverley--Young

---------Rooney----Hernandez-------

Rafael---Rio--Evans------Evra

Val---Carrick--Scholes---Nani

-----Rooney--Welbeck--------

I fecking hate Monday games. Always stuck at work :( So for the next month, I will only be able to catch the QPR and Villa games live on TV.

Love Monday games. Finish at 8 right in time for it. Work weekends so miss the games.

I only just actually realised we've now scored 4 more goals this season than City. It's only the goals conceded giving them their GD. Granted we scored 5 today, but they won't put more than 4 against City so we will still have scored more when we're level.

Same again please:

De Gea
Rafael---Evans---Rio---Evra
Valencia---Carrick---Scholes---Welbeck
Rooney
---Chicharito

May as well keep Welbeck and Chicharito in the line-up based on their goals today, with Rooney, Scholes and Valencia providing the service. The bench might be interesting if we get back say Nani and Jones fit, with also Cleverley to factor in after missing-out today. I presume Pogba will at least be on the bench to keep up his run of appearances.

Maybe Smalling at right-back to add extra height against their Russian striker?

de Gea
Smalling
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra
Valencia
Carrick
Scholes
Young
Rooney
Welbeck

Amos, Rafael, Fabio, Pogba, Park, Giggs, Hernandez

Team should be...

CB: Ferdinand
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Young

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Amos, Smalling, Pogba, Giggs, Cleverley, Nani, Hernandez

That is literally our best XI bar Vidic, whom I've forgotten about. It's insane to think we're missing possibly the best CB in the world yet still top the league.

It's really not. Nani is better player than young is, even on left wing.

I think for the first time in a very, very long time we can play our strongest 11 (without vidic). I think nani should be fit for this, and we will have a very strong bench as well, only injuries that I can think of are Anderson, fletcher, vidic and Owen.

De gea
Rafael rio Evans evra
Valencia carrick scholes welbeck/nani
Rooney Hernandez

4-0, we're at home, beat them 5-0 in their place and we are in great form in the league. They just lost 3-0 at home to Swansea. Can't see anything other than a comfortable win for us. Rooney x2, Hernandez and scholes to score. If city drop points between now and then I can see an even bigger scoreline in our favor, it would give us an added boost.

Nani would surely slot in instead of Young?

Similar team to the one that beat Wolves please.

de Gea, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Rooney are all musts. Rafael, Jones, or Smalling, I don't mind who starts at Right Back any more. I don't mind which combination of Nani, Young, Welbeck, or Hernandez starts as I'm sure we'll have enough to beat Fulham again. Our League form is very good and theirs is pretty average, they got undone by Swansea last game who are usually pretty poor away from home.

I was more worried about the Wolves game than this one but we ended up strolling that, if we slip up here it would be one of the shocks of the season. I reckon we'll walk this by at least two goals if our form players keep it up.

Also, I don't mind Monday night games. I'm off on Mondays and it gives me something to do in the evening.

On current form, I would say no. With Welbeck in the side, I believe Young is a better fit with his crossing. Coupled with Valencia on the other side we got two out-and-out wingers, which gives us more balance and width than with Nani in the side.

On current form you are right especially as nani is out inured.

I'd really like to see Cleverley playing now he's fit but given its only one game in seven days from pretty much here on in I can't see him getting many starts now not with Scholes' form
