Manchester United vs. Fulham

The catch is the only way Rooney gets fit is by playing. He aint going to get sharp on the bench.

All the more important we do well now.

No use dropping Rooney to show him we're capable of winning without him of we need to bring him on to bail us out.

I wouldn't go as far as to say its surprising. He was poor v Everton and we have plenty options up top now.

He's always bad against everton though, and even so wayne Rooney never got dropped before... Unusual.

Thank Christ he's on the bench, thought he would be. He clearly wasn't fit at Everton.

He'll still get playing time today, hopefully when we're a couple up.

Well, we thought he would be on the bench today.

It's a bit surprising, because Fergie doesn't always drop players such as Rooney after one poor game. But now we've got van Persie and Kagawa, so I hope people are not going to cry.

If Rooney is dropped- that should clearly be bad news for Nani who was worse

C´mon people it's Fulham at home, we clearly don't need our best players in this one.. no need to get dramatic..

Wouldn't have dropped Nani. Yeah, he was a waste of space at Goodison Park but running rings around Fulham should have been right up his street.

Rest of the team is fine.

Rooney in squad. Nani not in the squad. Some ass was kicked after the Everton match.

Fergie's taking no shit this season clearly. Nani and Rooney out.

Exciting team that

If I were Wootton, I'd be frustrated (a bit).

I took a part in pre-season tour, we're playing at home, against Fulham, with four centre-backs out... and I'm going to watch it from the stands.

Delighted that both Nani and Rooney are benched, have argued for this the whole week on here.
