Manchester United vs. Fulham

Great half that. Proper muppet stuff too. RVP with a classic, The Kagawa kid being a little bundle of jap sex. Rafel playing as a wing forward and even Bolt in the crowd, presumably there to sign a short term loan contract from Virgin Media.

Almost a perfect new season appetite wetter.

Well that was a fun half. We look brilliant going forward but shocking at the back. It's a bit like the Everton 4-4 game really. Hope we get a 4th quickly and then defend properly. Rafael has been so good going forward but he's been beaten a number of times at the back today so hopefully he improves on that. Oh and I don't see RvP lasting too long today. He seemed to be huffing and puffing a number of times towards the end.

We have been atrocious defensively. Same old problems with Rafael, I'm afraid.

Decent going forward, though I still think we've spent half the game going through the motions.

We're capable of destroying teams if we play the full game.

This has been hugely entertaining. Defence is suspect but given all the injuries, that's fair enough.

- I love this midfield combo of Anderson, Cleverley and Kagawa. It's bloody brilliant.
- Really fluid football.
- Rafael, aside from a couple of minor errors, has been just fantastic.
- Anderson has been wonderful.
- Van Persie's goal
- Kagawa is such a wonderful little player.
- Valencia has to be our first choice right winger.

- Competition for midfield is decent if everyone can stay fit.
- Dembele is just a wonderful, wonderful player. I really hope we pick him up.

Not really. He's improved a lot defensively off late but today he's been surprisingly poor. He doesn't get beaten so easily usually.

Roo looks ecstatic.

Van Persie's goal was beyond football.

Foot-to-ball. Goal.

Crazy.

Attack has been very good, just need to try and get the final ball in a bit better. Ando has impressed and he and clev on the ball are working well, as with last year though they leave a lot of space which Fulham are countering in to but players are tracking back well to stop them.

Hopefully we'll see the same team come out and try and get RVP more involved. Quality goal from him.

Rafael has been all over the place defensively but he has been good attacking wise. Really great game tbh. This is our best team in terms of balance. Don't know how we will fit rvp, rooney and kagawa. This will surely motivate rooney though, well it should. Except for certain occasions, young has been poor today.

Valencia absolutely bosses the right hand side.
Players need to pass to Kagawa more.
Amazing goal by RVP

Fulham should just focus all their effort on directing us towards our left flank since Young's confidence looks shot.

Rafael is showing his enormous potential again today. He has been very good defensively at times, and shown his relative inexperience at other times. I will love to see what this kid will become if he can stay injury free and play consistently for two seasons. I think he could be an absolute world beater. Defenders tend to mature later.

fecking hell, I missed the live RvP goal because of BLOODZEED fking up (very rare).
Then I COMPLETELY MISSED Rafael's goal (didn't even load in time for the replay) and DDG's apparent voodoo saves, and about 4 minutes of the end of that half.

Bloodzeed better up his game, certainly not my internet ;/

These dutch strikers are something else. I hoped RvP would get a goal today and what a way to take his chance. Made up for him and it defiantly would have settled some nerves. Kagawa has been ace as usual and the link up play between Valencia and Raf has been great. But if I'm honest, I'm a tad disappointed with Valencia's crossing as he can't seem to clear the left back, but I'm just really being picky as we was in a whole very good that first half.

He's supposed to be a defender though. If Rafael can't defend then what's the fecking point?

Thing is, he was very good defensively for around 40 minutes, he just had his usual moment of stupidity in between that (actually two of them). It's very annoying.

It's like watching the start of last season again: all out attack with pace and power, the young lads in the middle hunting down the opposition like a pack of hyenas, and no hope of an answer from what's in front of us. Rafa and Ando have been great and that Van Persie strike...glad to see Cleverley smash one at last too if he put his foot through it more there'd be more chances for rebounds like Shinji's! Didn't want the 1st half to end.

PS) DDG>Valdes! :p Great saves when needed too!

I'm one of Rafael's biggest advocates, but I always say that he plays 80% of the season strongly and 20% poorly (defensively speaking). He's been put on his arse twice by the Fulham left winger now, and the second time it almost led to a Fulham goal.

Rafael looks weird in no.2 jersey. Liiks a lot like Neville from afar.

I agree with all of that. But, as things stand, he's been poor defensively.

Was just an observation.

Am I the only one that things Kagawa looks a better player in the hole than Rooney? Nice problem to have mind you.

anyone got any half decent flash streams? ones that ive been watching have been so frustrating
