Give Fletcher a rest I reckon, we're still going to need him a lot up until Christmas so keep him fresh. A balance of Carrick and Anderson is enough to beat a team like Hull comfortably.

Now Hull will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Chelsea. They will want to prove that they belong in their current position. Whats important is that we treat them with respect and be ruthless in our approach. Dont even give them a chance of getting something.

If you going to do that, that means playing Rooney on the left which I don't like to see. So its 2 out 3 again for me and those two are Rooney and Berbatov.

Hull at OT. Really, we should let those front four play with complete freedom.
 
Whenever I watch anyone other than the top 3 play us at Old Trafford in the league, they create next to nothing.

I'd much prefer to see a 4-4-2 though with Rooney and Berbatov up front with Nani and Ronaldo on the wings.

We do tend to play a lot more narrow when we go with the shape you mentioned. Plus, it would mean Rooney's starting position would be the left side (or right I guess) and I don't like to him there.
 
Got a feeling a few changes will be made with Celtic away then Arsenal away in mind.....

I hope we don't underestimate them too much though, they may have taken a spanking off Chelsea last night but they have proven they can be pretty dangerous.

I'd actually rather go full strength and have the game won in the first 30mins, then he can take players off....

fergie will rest evra , rio , ronaldo and berba ...
trip to celtic in midweek .. hull at home .. i hope we dont tinker around with the team too much , but i wouldnt be surprised if fergie did make a few changes
