If Kagawa is out too.......

.................Chicharito
Young...........Januzaj....................Nani
............Jones..........Cleverley
.Evra......Vidic...........Smalling.......Rafael
....................De Gea

Bench: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Fellaini, Giggs, Valencia, Zaha, Welbeck

---------------De Gea----------------
Rafael-----Vidic------Evans-------Evra
----------Jones-----Fellaini------------
Nani-----------Kagawa---------Januzaj
--------------Chicharito---------------

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Anderson, Cleverley, Young, Valencia, Welbeck.

That bench is rubbish TBH.

I see that Kagawa is unwell and might not be ready for the weekend. In that case, I'd have:

Valencia------Januzaj-------Nani
-------------Chicharito----------

De Gea

Rafael Evans Smalling Evra

Jones Fellaini

Valencia Januzaj Nani

Chicharito

I hope that in under any circumstances Cleverley and Welbeck don't start.

Looking forward to the game because hey watching United is what I like, but have a bad feeling about this one with the injuries we have, suspensions, illness gonna be a bit of a patchwork. Somehow I think Moyes will find a way to NOT start Hernandez, Januzaj better start. I think Newcastle 3 United 2 with another late game winner given up by United.

De Gea
Rafael Evans Smalling Evra
Jones Fellaini
Valencia Januzaj Nani
Chicharito
Good team, that's what I'm hoping to see.

I'm hoping the bench is something like: Lindergaard, Vidic, Fabio, Cleverley, Anderson, Zaha, Young.

We don't have any orthodox strikers apart from Hernandez do we? Henriquez, Will Keane, Powell (can play there) all on loan..

It's going to be tense as feck tomorrow. We need to score first and early to set us up, but that has to be followed up with another so we can all relax a little.I suspect Newcastle will see this as a very winnable game, and I think it will be a 1-1 draw which would be a nightmare.I just think things are going to get worse before they get better.

The team should be..

DDG
Rafael
Evra
Evans
Vidic

Januzaj
Fellaini
Cleverley
Nani

Kagawa (hopefully)
Hernandez

I'd just be slightly concerned it we end up with Welbeck and Hernandez up top, as I've said before I think the two of them just don't balance/compliment each other at all. Tbh if Kagawa is out then I can definitely see Fellaini playing in the number 10 role sadly, although tbf think I'd prefer that to welbeck/hernandez as a front 2.

Hernandez can't play with Danny behind him you're right.Hernandez needs someone quick thinking and sharp behind him to supply the kind of balls he can feed on.Danny dithers on the ball, and by the time he gets the ball under control it's too late.

From the sounds of it, neither Kags or Welbeck will make this one.

I'm going to stick with my Jones/Ando/Nani/Young/Januzaj/Hernandez line-up... time for people to step-up.

--------------De Gea------------
Rafael---Smalling--Evans--Evra
------Cleverley---Anderson-----
---Nani---Kagawa---Ash Young---
--------------Chicharito-----------

This line-up should beat Newcastle 5-1.

If Kagawa can't make it:

Rafael-------Vidic-------Smalling-------Evra
------------------Jones--------------------
----------Anderson------Fellaini---------
Januzaj-----------------------------Nani---
-----------------Hernandez----------------

If Kagawa makes it, just put him in for Fellaini.

With Kagawa:

De Gea
Rafael Evans Smalling Evra
Jones Giggs
Nani Kagawa Januzaj
Cheech
Without Kagawa:
De Gea
Rafael Evans Smalling Evra
Jones
Fellaini Giggs
Nani Cheech Januzaj

This game really snuck up on me, feel like we played just yesterday to be honest. Hopefully we get a win here, and no injuries please.

I really hope Kagawa gets a run in behind Hernandez, I don't think he will though with this illness thing. So if he wasn't to play in behind, I would just suck it up and play Fellaini there. Just scrap it, we need points. Play him where he is going to impact the game and gain some confidence.

I hate the idea of him playing there but at the moment, I really think it's worth a shot for 90mins.

Although we lost on Wednesday i thought we had a go in the first half, play like that today and could see us winning 2-0.

Found $20 in my back pocket. Throwing it on Rafael first goal scorer. C'mon Rafa!!

Well he is under other, so come on other!

I agree, just feck it and hoof it up to the big man. We desperately need to get going again.

So who's actually out? RVP, Rooney, Carrick + probably Welbeck and Kagawa?

Valencia is our Downing.

Antonio Valencia attempted eight crosses v Everton; not one reached a teammate. On Sunday v Tottennham he attempted 11 and was successful once.

I can see Tiote getting sent off if Januzaj plays through the middle.

We'll win - we are inconsistent (which is not unusual if a new manager takes over) but we're still good enough.

Anyone else think, if Kagawa and RVP are out, we might see Nani play behind Hernandez? He played the striker role against Leverkusen in the last few minutes and got himself a goal, so that might be an option.

I am hoping for

De Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Jones Fellaini
Nani Giggs Januzaj
Hernandez
