They have shown all of United's FA Cup games so far this season so perhaps they wanted a change
 
After seeing Messi pull his hamstring for Barcelona I hope we give some of the lads a rest for the FA Cup tie. We should have plenty of talent in reserve to still beat Portsmouth. I'd go for the following line up:

Should be enough in this team to still beat Pompey but all the big guns should be on the bench just in case they will be needed!

Why does roon need a rest? he played 20 mins against fulham and was shit,and was poor last night too. he needs games to get his form back i think he could play virtually every game till the end of the season,hes only 22 and hes had alot of the season off already..goddamit.

That's the positive side.
Down side being, you can't get pissed, and the atmosphere suffers.
Coupled with the weekend in it's early days, but Utd have already played...

I usually just wake up with a raging hangover (like every day), wonder what day it is and why I'm still fully clothed. Then I think I have to go to work but look at the clock and it's 12.10pm. Rooney was rested for Fulham, he can play more than 2 games in a row, he should play, he's young.

Brucey has got Wigan playing a little bit and they should avoid the drop. Not an easy game for the Goons and hopefully they'll suffer a bit of a European hangover. I don't see them dropping points for the third consecutive game though.

Well for me he didnt really look the part against Lyon, probably because the whole team didnt play that well, but I would play Saha for some of such games like this. We should still win the game easily, even without roon, and Tevez really looked damn sharp against Lyon when he came on.
Hopefully all three of them will play a part against Portsmouth.

Good idea but she knows I want to watch it, we were talking about the trip and I suddenly realized we would be leaving way before kick off and went 'oh shit', and she knew there was something so I just gotta hope the gods are on my side :lol:
