Just take your computer to class and stream it after you finish the test. Watch the first half and then catch the bus go home during halftime and watch the 2nd half at home.

I did.. But then a co-worker wanted a last minute vacation so I felt bad putting my manager in a spot. So said I'd work. I'm a fecking IDIOT.

Doubt I'm going to sleep tonight..

Listening to the 09 Opening ceremony to get me even more pumped. Did the same before the first leg.

Won't post it here unless somebody wants me to - we lost then.

You tried to be a hero and now you're paying for it.

You should have known March 5th is when the world stops to watch this game.

Yep. I have the day off as well (6:45am airing for me).

Plenty of housework to do after the game if we go out.
Plenty of time on the Caf to discuss the next round if we are in.

Nerves won't set in until I go to bed tonight. Get to wake up at 6:45am and watch. :D

This is what my friend usually does. I can usually attend the 11:000 am lecture and skip the 2:00pm lecture, but the midterm just ruined everything.

What is a good source of stream? p2p4u.net? is veetle still sround?

I still can't believe Fabio has started a Champions League final.

Yeah, dunno what Ruud10 is talking about.

And he didn't do badly in that CL final either with our tactics/midfield being dominated.

What? He's been a regular the last couple of months (until he got injured a couple of games ago).

Apologies. I've watched them a several times this year and saw Fabio only twice. Needless to say, I haven't watched them enough.

He started playing regularly late December. I don't know if it was injuries or Hughes' ineptitude that kept him out of the team before that.

The excitementhas finally hit me full force about 5 minutes ago. I've got to try and get about 5 hours sleep in before the match as well.

Pessimistic me taking over. If we score first, it makes no difference to Real. They'll still have to score only 1 to eke out a result (If it goes ET, I think they'll win). And for the life of me I don't see us scoring the first 2.

feck it. We're gonna get kicked out.

You are a right bundle of joy this morning, IL.

Tell us more about yourself, buddy.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed I see.

Surprised Giggs is featuring in so many starting elevens.

Personally think Cleverley should start with Carrick and that Rooney, RVP and Kagawa should start. Only question is who starts alongside them and a case could be made for any of Welbeck, Valencia or Nani. I'd be happy enough with Jones over Clev after the way he has played recently but then I don't see any reason why Cleverley should not start going on his form this season and our record in the big games.

For me, Giggs should be used as an impact sub if we need to create something. There's a reason he has not started any of the big games we have won this season yet.

firstrowsports

Shall have to use it later because despite having 3 channels that show CL two will be showing the Dortmund match and the other will be showing our match but I'm 90% sure they'll block it because one of the other 2 is a local station so has priority. Hopefully they'll be sensible and leave it though.

Agreed that Giggs does possess all the qualities mentioned and has by far the most intelligent footballing brain. I guess I may be underestimating his current fitness level as I initially pictured him being left for dead by nearly any of the RM wingers/fullbacks.

What does lack of pace have to do with his fitness?

Typically before a big European game I had a dream about it. We lost 3-1, Hernandez scored in the first minute, then Higuain and Benzema in 86th and Ronaldo in stoppage time.

It probably means we're going to win as my dreams are usually the complete opposite.

It is indeed slightly surprising to see several posters include Giggs in the potential starting line up. Like you noted, I too think he'll have a much more pronounced impact on the match if he comes on as a sub around the 60 minute mark. I expect Valencia/Young to come off the bench as well.

As to the my beliefs regarding the midfield/forward starters for the match, I think Carrick and Cleverley will start in central midfield, along with Rooney and Van Persie upfront. The players to be used for the remaining two positions will depend on the specific formation we'll use (e.g. 4-3-3 with Cleverley - Carrick - Kagawa in central midfield and Nani - Van Persie - Rooney up front), the defensive tactics that will be employed (Welbeck will be ideal if aggressive pressing is selected), and the form of players (I think the likely candidates based on form are Kagawa and Nani). I hope this game turns out to be a memorable one with United ultimately claiming victory.

Chucking a nice crisp 5er on 3-2 United. Cannot wait

We are gonna win lads. 2-0 with us scoring the second goal after catching them on break in the latter stages of the match.
