A lot more watchable than usual, but just lacking that dribbler or crosser to absolutely destroy them. Valencia is a decent outlet but his crossing hasn't been there. Kagawa's natural instinct is to come inside, so minus a couple of occasions he's doing that.
Much better than we've played for a long time. Neville's singing Giggsy's praises but the truth is he's been competent not class, just shows the difference adding even an above ordinary centre midfielder to our squad would make.
Good performance, overall. We really need to start finish off teams when we are on top. Rooney, Kagawa, Giggs, Carrick all playing well and back four looking decent.

At times United have been very goods, but quite sloppy. DDG and Rooney the star performers, and Valencias been quite good. Kagawa, and Chico disappointing , but sitll think one of those two will score.
Good half, though we really should have scored a second when we were on top. Ref is going to screw one side over at some point and just hope it's them and not us.

Once Rooney started dropping deep ( the whole match ) we're looking far, far better. Kagawa and Valencia are doing good job imo, Henandez seems to lack the rhythm, Giggs ( bar that idiotic dispossession ) and Carrick are doing fine, generally speaking, it's going cool but I feel that we need to kill this game off or it might end up same way we got fecked against SOTON.

You fear that if a sub is made it might be because Moyes has to act to prevent a player getting sent off, rather than something which is tactically necessary.

We started well and the passing and movement is decent but Sociedad are slowly getting back into the game and we really need a second goal. I'm liking the Jones and Evan combo.

He has? He started well and had a couple of chances, but I haven't seen him being a class apart. Everyone's done pretty well for me.
Disappointing we couldn't extend our lead when we were all over them, but let's look at the positives, the performance was very good in all areas of the pitch. But a one goal lead can easily be undone by a set piece even if you're dominating a game, as we saw. So I hope we finish them off in the second half.

Good game but we're slowing down and giving them a chance to get into the game. I'd like to see Adnan come on for Giggs at some point. I think he'd be great doing what Giggs has done so far. Valencia started well but we need to get the intensity back in our play and get that second goal.

Lost our way a touch as the half went on, but on the whole a much better intensity and pace to our play, unfortunately because, and I know the "don't judge him until he's played more games" crowd will jump on this, Fellaini isn't playing. Get the ball out to Valencia as quick as possible and let him cross it in, their defending of crosses has been atrocious, they always look like they're going to deflect it into one of our players paths when they clear it.

Kagawa picked up some good space near the end of the half but he's not been getting the pass, example rooney passed to Evra when he was the better option. We need to be more decisive in the second half, as we need the second goal.

Our players need to shoot more, Giggs should have shot when he crossed for Hernandez disallowed goal and similarly Kagawa should have shot right at the end of the half.
The ref was totally retarded. 5 bookings in the first half in a game where weren't many chalenges. All could have been avoidable.
