Lindegaard; Jones; Scholes, Anderson, Nani; Hernandez, Welbeck
I think Nani might be dropped to the bench as he's only recently back from injury. He'll get on as a sub though, probably for Valencia if he doesn't have a decent match. Giggs might make the bench due to his good form lately, but personally I think he'd benefit from a full rest too.
It's hard to drop Hernandez, but I'd prefer him to be on the bench and come on if needed. On the left, it's out of four players in Nani, Giggs, Kagawa, and Welbeck. While Giggs has been on the best form, Welbeck has been working hard, and Nani has looked sharp even after an injury, I think this is a game for Kagawa to try and find some form. He hasn't settled in properly yet so let's give him a game against one of the 'lesser' teams at home to try and find some confidence.
The rest of the team picks itself bar Buttner, who probably won't start to be honest. I just think despite the break the players have had, this is the best chance to give Evra a rest so he doesn't have to play three games in a week. Then he'll be fresher for Everton and Real Madrid (while still facing Fulham on the weekend to keep match sharp).
Ideal subs to bring on would be Scholes for Carrick, Nani for Valencia, and Welbeck for Rooney/RvP/Kagawa if we're already in a strong position.
7-0....
Just kidding, but I'd be slightly miffed if we didn't do these by at least three goals and get up to +30 goal difference. Three points is all that matters for now, though. Have to take this chance to extend the lead again.
