Manchester United vs. Sunderland

if Nani is ineffective again I wouldn't be too surprised if someone like Welbeck was introduced to the first team sooner or later

I'd have Welbeck or Macheda in the team ahead of Nani. I just dont see any improvement to Nani's mentality. He's got fantastic ability but he just keeps frustrating everyone - the players included. He doesnt seem to want to do the simple thing. Ronnie was the same but he stopped doin that & became an outstanding team player. If Nani has learned anything from Ronnie - that should be it!

He's wasting every opportunity to excel at United by overplaying & trying to grab the headlines. I hate to pour scorn on one of our players but he's not playin for the team & thats the cardinal sin in my book!

On the bbc from somebody at the ground (could be complete rubbish tho), but Vidic out due to minor car crash this morning - he is ok

Yes please, although I wouldn't mind Valencia instead of Carrick, and O Shea ahead of Neville.

Id prefer JOS over Neville aswell. Depends if Richardson is playing left back or not but his pace against Neville could be a problem. Think Welbeck may get a run out today aswell

Any news on Rafa?

back in training .
doing well .
so says fergie

Aye, so guess he'd be ready for Bolton.

As for S-land, I'd like to see:

Sheasy--------Rio----------------Vida----------Evra

Nani---------Fletch-----------Carrick--------Giggs

-------------Rooney--------Berba---------------

It's internationals next week, so Giggs would receive a further rest there.

with Vidic apparently in a car accident, don't think he will play.

From Scott, Man Utd fan, via text on 81111: "I'm at Old Trafford and have just been told that Nemanja Vidic won't be playing today. He had a minor car accident this morning. Nothing serious."

anything to back it up other than someone texting bbc
hardly reliable is it

Richardson played left back last week, but I think Nev should cope with him anyway, fletch should be able to help him out anyway.

Good team, 6-0 win

Berbax3
Nani
Rooney
Scholes

Welbeck out wide...we're really struggling for a 2nd winger.

Bent and Jones are in decent form at the minute but Sunderland's defene is still finding its feet so i gather.

2-1 or 3-1

Reckon Welbeck will bag himself one.

UNITED!!

I'm pleased with it. I'd rather have Rio in to cope with Bent/Jones and it will be interesting to see how Welbeck does. Big ask of him today.

Good to see Welbeck in there. Rio still has that niggling injury i think.

I starting to become quite a serious thing me thinks.
