Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Wouldn't have made a difference if Evans and Rio switched, Rio wouldn't have kept up with Defoe either.

Giggs and Kagawa off with Welbeck and Rooney on. That's my bet.

I know its a bit harsh on lindegaard, but its been some pretty dismal efforts to save the two shots on goal. He was nowhere near both and you have to think that De Gea could possibly have saved the bale shot. Lindegaard went down much too slow IMO.

Lindegaard seems more competent with crosses but my god David if by far the better shot stopper.

Everyone could see this happening.

That midfield was too slow to cope with Spurs, who thrive on pace and counter-attacking.

Absolutely terrible team to match terrible tactics. Someone in the back room needs to be fired for the stupidity of this.

That someone would be Fergie.

What is even more scary is that MUTV pundits have said recently that Giggsy could play for another couple of years. God help us.

Kinda want him to retire at the end of this season, so we can move on and either buy a replacement or promote someone from the academy/reserves.

Seems like Ferdinand has decided to do all the defending. 1 tackle, 1 interception and 7 clearances to Evans 0 tackles, 0 interceptions and 1 clearance.

I don't think he's done against EPL teams. But if Scholes is injured, and we need to rotate players in midfield, I'd still be happy to have Giggs to call on.

So he might end up getting a start against a good team because of rotation, but I'd keep his out of the big games if I could.

But if he was in central midfield his pace wouldn't be much of a problem, and he wouldn't be under nearly as much pressure. It would be building play from the back, he's still excellent at keeping the ball if he's not in tight spaces.

I think he cannot start matches of this magnitude anymore.Scratch that, I don't think, I affirm it with certainty.
SAF has made a truly terrible decision to include in the starting 11

If we are going to lose, feck it, go all out.

Take off Scholes, Giggs and either Carrick or Nani and bring on Cleverley, Rooney and either Ando or Welbeck.

Well, that half was a bit of a surprise. 2 - 0 up and we deserve it.

However, we've been here before and things have pete tong for Spurs in the 2nd half, whether due to terrible ref. decisions or great attacking play from Man. Utd, or a combination of both.

We'll soon find out if history will repeat itself.

Was it feck, every single United fan on the planet could see it coming with that team but apparently none of our coaching staff did.

Won't happen...Fergie going to convince Giggs and Scholes to play well into their 40's...

we can't have our 27 year old youngsters Cleverley and Anderson play the big games now can we? Don't have enough experience yet...

More surprising than seeing you in here.

We are playing even more poorly than we did an Anfield and Spurs are playing better than Liverpool did, I can't see us getting another lucky 3 points...can't even see us getting a point unless we seriously improve in this next half. Our performances of late have been bleeding consistently shoddy despite our relatively good (read: lucky) results :o

Its just heartbreaking to watch sandro and dembele shit all over our midfield. They are finding it just so easy to keep the ball and waltz around, knowing that none of our guys can possibly get the ball off them.

Evra looks like he is playing hurt or something. He has just resorted to fouling players who go past him.
