I'm fairly confident our side will be:
Lindegaard
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Carrick Scholes
Nani Rooney Kagawa
Van Persie
With the 3 behind RVP doing plenty of rotating.
I really hope not Carl

Yes please.
Nani is well off the boil right now. Give Danny the nob.
We should win this. That attack, on paper at least, is sexxxxy. Just needs games to find their rhythm.

Rafael-Rio-Evans-Buttner
Carrick
Cleverley-Kagawa-Anderson
Rooney-RvP
Keep Rooney as the pressing shallow player and dropping back to support the deeper three with Carrick playing static in front of the back four.
We're going to need someone marking Dembele a treat while our 3 keep Sandro busy.
I want to see this, pretty much. Although I wouldn't mind Welbeck dropped for Cleverley to bolster the middle of the park a bit more. Something like this even though it looks a little odd:De Gea
Rafael Rio Evans Evra
Carrick Scholes
Rooney Kagawa Welbeck
Van Persie

Dembele to tear us a new one again.
I really hope not Carl![]()
Nice 11 but in all seriousness you couldn't play that formation and we have never man marked the likes of Zidane before and you are wanting us to man mark Dembele??
If we use the formation we used midweek then this could be quite interesting:
Lindegaard
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Carrick
Cleverley Anderson
Rooney
Welbeck Van Persie
Maybe Kagawa instead of Cleverley or Anderson.
Keep to your original team IMO,
Make a choice between Rooney and Kagawa [playing both is the asy way out ], the other can always be introduced alter. Furthermore we don't want to be lessening our strength in midfield, let's hold our own their for a change.
Well, I don't know which games you saw (or didn't see), but we've only lost one game so far - the opening game of the season - and Newcastle were a bit lucky to win that.Spurs have been dire every time I've seen them this season. ...
4-2-3-1
----------------------DDG (probably be Lindegaard)
Rafael--------Rio-------Evans------Buttner (probably be Evra)
----------Cleverley---------Anderson
Nani-------------Rooney------Kagawa (tucked in)
-------------------RvP
*Carrick will probably be there in midfield,& rightly so. Though from a personal point of view, I'd love to see the fast paced, energetic football from the above lineup. It'll probably end up being too open a game though!
However, it's possible that we might get a draw.
This really isnt going to be easy. Spurs usually give us a scare.
Even you don't seriously believe that. 5-0 or 5-1 is more like it.
you could say that about a few of our games this season, yet we've manage to get the result.
If not for Shelvey i doubt we'd have managed to do so last week.
what no Rooney?
.... and the myth lives on.

I'd agree that we've been poor in parts of some games (the first half against QPR for example), but generally the performances have been improving bit by bit as the team gels further with AVB's approach. And in one or two games (against Lazio for example) and in parts of some other games I've been quite impressed.
Of course our record against Man. Utd is terrible. This is especially the case at OT, but then again we've sometimes been on the receiving end of some dreadful refereeing decisions in this fixture.
All in all I think that AVB would have needed a bit more time at the helm before I could be optimistic about getting any kind of a result in this match. However, it's possible that we might get a draw.
I refuse to believe we'd start Giggs and Scholes together in a home game.
