As things stand we get one of Schalke/Lyon, Madrid, Barca, Munich or Shaktar.
you sure? *must check, could have sworn the commentator said Valencia has better goal diff*

We've been very very good and yet find ourselves down.
Carrick, thanks a lot for ruining the record and potentially costing us top place and making us face maybe Madrid or Barca.
A draw is not enough. We have the win to top the group. Valencia are way ahead of goal difference.

Literally not true
Ah give over, a few minutes earlier it could've been Berbatov who cost us it, a few minutes later it could've been Nani.
Carrick hasn't been the only player giving the ball away needlessly tonight. He's just the only one who was punished for it.
I'll tell you what's annoying me...

Why doesn't Rafael attack anymore
Makes me laugh how Anderson produces a brilliant performance in the middle, making greats runs, intercepting balls, generally dominating, and then Rooney wakes up and goes on a few runs and has a great shot and suddenly he's the best player of the half.

If United draw or lose by one goal at home to Valencia they would win Group C, although anything more than a one-goal win for the Spanish side would see Los Che top the standings on the head-to-head rule.

Bring on Madrid. Sons of a bitches!
They put up some guys post on BBC Sport. "If United lose here that is the Champions League season as good as over. This is a terrible situation at the moment."

I've actually really enjoyed the game so far - we could on another day easily have scored 5, the chances we are making are at times really easy on the eye. Anderson looks the player we all dearly want him to be and Rooney is getting right into his stride.
Season defining did somebody say? well many believe Rooney to be key to out title aspirations this season and the crowd looked to be chanting his name, a goal for him in the second half and it could definitely be season defining but for all the right reasons.
There was some talk after the last round that Valencia needed a two goal win the top the group. But that was incorrect wasn't it?
