Manchester United vs. West Bromwich Albion

Good enough performance, but a 2nd would be nice. Valencia continues to perform poorly. Kagawa probably our best player so far, his link up play with Cleverley is a joy to watch at times.

What the feck was that foul? Dude smashes into Cleverley and it's his fault? Could have cost us!

WBA lucky to be only 1-0 down. Good half. Clev and Kagawa have been good.

Nothing to complain about, the football has been sexy thanks to Cleverley, Kagawa and Carrick mainly :drool::drool:
Evans and Vidic have to be careful with Shane Long as that little bitch is a big fecking cheat and diver.

Decent performance so far.
Kagawa's been very good. As has been Cleverley.

Val poor as feck, but at least he's better defensively again.

Decent play, we can play much better if we stop doing stupid long balls and if we just trust in our ability more. Overall good half.

HT.
Decent game. Clevs and Kagawa linking up nicely. Apart from a couple of what-the passes, Clevs looked very good, and Kagawa really showed some class.
We're defending rather decently too. Only Valencia looks rather out of ideas when he gets a chance.

WBA depending on set pieces to try to get something.
We need one more, or else it'll be nervy and then they'll throw that lump Lukaku on to fall on DDG and :nervous:

Some will say a boring first half, but I thought it was decent, nothing special, just a good solid half where just the football is doing the talking, we created plenty of chances and only Foster has stopped us scoring more.

Not a great performance by any measure but apart from the edgy finish we've been quite comfortable. Need a second goal. Valencia doesn't really "feel" Kagawa.

Lots of potential there, just need to be a bit more cutting with the final ball and stop a few sloppy passes. Kagawa is looking good though.

Cleverley and Kagawa are on the same wavelength, so nice to watch. When Cleverley runs forward Kagawa is always offering Carrick an option. Those two in the same side have a lot of potential.

Good half. Should be further ahead but we've been comfortable and looked good going forward.

The movement and passing at times has been very good, stark difference today compared to Wednesday.

Hopefully we kill this game off early in the second half.

strolling this one, Kagawa looks like he's never been away.

Need a 2nd asap though. Otherwise all it takes is a chance like the free kick position West Brom had in the last min of the first half and it can cost us.

need to take care of our business, and hope Norwich can do something now they're against ten men

I think rooney being out for few weeks will be a good thing for kagawa.

Comfortable half but perhaps too comfortable. Not enough urgency.

I'd be very surprised if we didn't score another one or two goals in this one.

Doesn't matter who we're up against these days, we're leaking goals. And even though I like Welbeck, he's not the most deadly of finishers. Combine that with the fact Kagawa is coming back from a long injury layoff, and that West Brom have two good strikers in Long and Odemwingie, then I think this game could be just as big a clusterfeck as the Newcastle one.

Maybe I was wrong, this has been easy. Almost too easy....

It's a trap!

Welbeck was underwhelming again, he really needs to progress otherwise he will be sold soon

Seems a bit extreme, he's not had much football recently so can't expect him to be too sharp. I thought he'd worked hard and his interplay was good, hasn't had many chances to work with.

Give Tony a rest, shift Welbeck out left and bring a goal threat. Done and done. Rest of the team look solid, with potentially the exception of Smalling not really looking like a RB.

What did Nasri do? Norwich might actually get something from the game then, although I still doubt it.

It's been like a training match for us. Completely in control with Kagawa and Cleverley being our best players. Nemanja has looked good as well.

The scoreline doesn't reflect our dominance and complete comfort on the ball. That is the only significant issue after a very nice (and as another poster said, stangely relaxing) half.

This injury may have allowed Kagawa to watch the team from a different perspective and learn about his teammates. He looks better than before, 'more' settled in if it can be said.I suspect in the second half he will start to fade as fatigue becomes more apparent
