Manchester United vs. West Ham United

O'Shea again :(

This was a perfect game to give Rafael a game.

Great to see Nani on the right though. He's brilliant there. Hope Rooney scores

Please No John O'Shea at right back...please! i cant put myself through another 90 minutes of hopeless ball control, random off target 'crosses' launched into no mans land and general wankness any time hes on the ball, that display at Fulham last week was embaressing, his second touch is a tackle every bloody week.

O'Shea over Rafael is so frustating.

If O'Shea starts after last week's dismal performance, why doesn't Valencia?

Good bench.

Thought Carrick was going to get a start today in all honesty, he really has fallen out of favour, i suppose not surprisingly but if hes going to stay then id have thought we need to give him some football.

O'shea over Rafael again. :(

It's not 2007 anymore you planks.

2007 was O'Shea's best ever season, tbh.

West Ham team anyone?

It's not 2007 anymore you planks.

O'Shea has a few average performances and one poor one after coming back from a long injury "OMG HES SHIT. PLAY RAFAEL HE'S BETTER GOING FORWARD ND BRAZILLIAN!!!!!11" Rafael does something crazy or gets caught out of position "YUNG N LEARNIN"

Don't care if he even scores the winner. Disappointed Rafael didn't get a shot.

3 points please

Help Needed Urgently ..

Anyone in Palm Beach Gardens, FL region here who can advise me of any pub/sports bar showing the game today? It is on FSC, but I don't have it at my rental unit.

Many Thanks.

BBC

United, who are unbeaten this season, have won 11 of their last 12 league matches at Old Trafford, averaging 3.25 goals per game - so the signs look ominous for West Ham."

Very attacking team by SAF - Giggs, Scholes, Nani, Berba, Rooney with Fletcher being the legs!!

I think we will concede - looks like a 2-1.

I'd be more worried about the fact that we needed a 90th min JOS winner to beat West Ham at Home.

We lost to Burnley and drew with Blackburn last season. Shit happens.

WH haven't won away since the first game of last season.

I thought the O'Shea hate died a year ago, what has happened since?

Strong lineup. I can see Rooney getting back to goal scoring form here.

It's not hate. It's just the realization that while he's always been a faithful servant, O'shea offers us very little going forward and against a team that's not exactly a threat we should really look to play a more attacking fullback.

I'm sure O'shea will do fine. But that's got more to do with the hammers lacking any real punch then anything else. Would have liked to see Rafael starting today though. He's the future and this is a relatively stress free game.

We'll score more than 2.

You not heard of the commadus reverse curse?

It kinda worked in the matchday thread where I said Chelsea would score bucketloads and in the end it was 2-0.

Now the secrets out if we score less than 2 it's your fault! :p

John O'Shea is a much better choice than Rafael for me at the time being, the only minus being JOS's hopeful balls into midfield that usually falls for an opposite player.

Why do people care about going forward so much? The first priority of a right back is defense. O'Shea is a far better defender and is a greater asset at set pieces due to his height.

It's not hate, O'Shea is a great lad, but he's not good enough he offers us nothing.

Nothing? Besides being our best Right back? Besides being able to slot anywhere across the back four or even in defensive mid? Wow.

Brown, Park, Gibson and Neville. Are we not better to sell these players if they can't make it on the bench?

Yeah lets just sell everyone who can't make the bench and have a squad of just 18 players.
