Its the Mighty League Leaders against the Loveable Toffees (I know they're Scousers but you can't really hate them, cus they usually beat 'The Scum' and they nurtured our Wayney)...Should be a cracker!!

We must win, shame we lose a chance to extend our lead.

If Ronnie & Saha are fit.

------------------VDS------------------
O´Shea-----Rio----------Vidic----Heinze
Ronaldo---Scholes------Carrick----Evra-
-----------Rooney-------Saha----------

Bench: Kuszczak, Neville, Fletcher, Giggs, Smith

I will dance with joy if thats the selection, but I fear Saha and Ronny will not be fit in time for this one.

Worst case scenario, both Saha and Ronnie are unable to at least start the game.

The changes need not be quite so drastic or unconventional, Giggs goes up front alongside Rooney, Fletch on the right and Evra on the left flank maybe? Assuming we go with a 4-4-2.

So Heinze's return could prove more than timely for us.

I don't think a 4-3-3/4-5-1 which some might suggest is really a good idea myself.

Can see AJ giving Rio and Vidic some headaches, but that might be about it.

1-0 with a moment of genius from Rooney against his old club

-------VDS-------
Gaz Rio Vid Heinze
Ron Carrick Scholes Giggs
Saha Rooney

I think saha and ronnie will both be fit, didnt look like bad injuries tbh.

we should win this one, i'd go for 2-0, scholes and rooney.

Prediction:3-0 Saha, Rooney, Vidic

rooney-giggs

thats presuming ronaldo and saha are injured or just not risked and put on the bench.

still a good team 2-0 united

Heinze did very well yesterday, but remember that he has not played much since he's coming back fron injury. I would give him a rest on wednesday because he worked so hard for 90 minutes and he should be very tired after yesterdays game.

VDS
O'shea Rio Vidic Heinze
Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Evra
Saha Ronney

Subs: Kuczszak, Silvestre, Smith, Fletcher, Giggs

Fletcher for Scholes 60'

I think Fletcher will definitely start for ronaldo. That is one switch I am sure will happen. Otherwie can see Evra and O'shea coming in for the full backs. Saha if fit should start.

Brown-------Rio----------Vidic-------Evra
Fletcher---Scholes-----Carrick---Ronaldo

Bench: Kuszczak, Heinze, O'Shea, Giggs, Saha

we'd be doing very well to win this one, the result at the weekend may actually help us out with the motivation. Wouldn't be too sure that chelsea will drop points, they destroyed bolton toward the end of last season, still, ihope they lose of course.

fletcher in, giggs out(till 65mins or so)

Brown in for nev

Heinze out for evra

Saha'll play i reckon

thats no way for him to get his continuity back. he has to play successive games. have always said that once gaby is fit, he should be in ahead of evra - ultimately it may be as a detriment to our attack, but he is more solid. we have more than enough going the other way.

We need to win this to boost our confidence and spirits. Being six points ahead of Chelsea will put pressure on them - regardless of what they're mouthing to the contrary in the press.

--------------VDS--------------
----Brown--Rio--Vidic--Heinze---
Fletcher--Carrick--Scholes--Evra
----------Rooney--Saha--------

----Brown--Rio--Vidic--Homer---
Fletcher--O'Shea--Scholes--Richardson
----------Rooney--Smith--------

Anyone who missing Phil Neville? If he played for United, I think he would have been first choice after Scholes and Carrick.
I rather have Phil Neville than O'Shea in our squad (well, would want both of them). Phil is good at every position, RB, LB and central midfield.

Love Phil Neville.

This is one of those games where Fergie is going to give me a feckin heart attack -- we need to win -- to create a 6 point gap -- but he will "rest" players and we will have to scrape through -- and it will be agony!

Thanks for your good wishes sutty. We're going to sing "If you all hate Scousers, clap your hands". Will that be OK on this occasion?

If Fletcher will play then Evra should too imo. We would lose too much width without both.
I think well win, cant see them scoring.
Also, no Howard and AJ is doubtful for them.

2-0

That's ok.

Steven Gerrard and murderers not so much.

Though they'll join in with murderers. And quite possibly start it.

3-0 to United.

Diarra/Richardson in united player hating shocker.

Grow up you muppet, FLETCHER has been great for us this season.
