Five difficult games in space of 14 days, it's impossible to field 32-year old Scholes in all of them. He had to be rested, and Everton game seems fine for that, because the rest is far more difficult than this one.

Ronaldo and Rooney upfront should be ok
but that midfield is crap.
Fletcher is not a winger

Even if benching all those main players was necessary, why not play Brown in central defense, Micky on the left and Evra on the wing???

the central midfield partnership of oshea and carrick is too defensive for a home game in premiership, remember how ineffective they were in copenhagen.No one got forward and we created nowt.

hope this re shuffle doesnt come back to haunt us, too many changes for me
