Uploading individual clips on Vimeo - not sure if YouTube would allow UCL clips. Anyway, here are two nice clips:

60 minutes in and he has looked inept at shielding the defence against a world-class attack. He's played largely as a second striker at Everton, he needs to learn his new role and fast.

Considering he was supposed to be a player who would help shield the defence like you said, City have simply strolled through us so far. Hopefully he'll improve but he's doing a lot to convince me that he wasn't a particularly impressive signing.

Let's not go overboard now, the whole team were awful today and he's never played a game like that in his career before. No point saying he's out of his depth or not good enough based off it.

Toure has absolutely dicked this game.. Fellaini just hasn't come close to matching him.

I've no doubt he'll become a great player for us but he's been awful today - though so have the vast majority of the team.

I hope you're right because today he looks like Andy Carrols, slower, less talented brother.

Here we go...

Thought he was ok so far. Definitely not the worse culprit but poor set piece defending for the 2nd as he was tracking toure.

I thought he was supposed to stop Yaya Toure dicking on us every time we played.

He is out of his depth. fecking look at him, he's a clueless big microphone headed feck.

He's out of his depth because it's his first ever game at this level for us and the whole team has had an absolute shocker.

He's out of his depth because he's not good enough, and never has been.

I was saying pretty much the same things as you were before we signed him TN but he's here now and I'm not going to write him off after a terrible team performance.

Fellaini shouldnt be anywhere near the no10 role. Its just not United.

Exactly.

And to be fair to City they've been absolutely immense, Toure especially has just owned the entire pitch

More concerned about the manager signing him than the player. He will do better against the weaker teams

I don't think hes been that bad but for at least one of their goals he should have stayed with Ageuro

By sheer virtue of actually moving Cleverley has been infinitely better than Fellaini in midfield. And Cleverley isn't that good.

Moyes gets most of the blame. He played a two-man midfield against a Pellegrini team...

People were waiting to blame Fellaini on something. This loss is squarely on Moyes shoulders.
Stop talking shite he has bossed City while in Everton colours one game doesnt maketh or breaketh a man. Stop being a cretin
So its being a cretin to criticise a player, but have a go at the manager and that's fine?

Fellaini is shit, he's a fecking terrible signing.

He has done well against City before. Its the team effort and the managers tactics this defeat doesnt rest sole on one fecking player

That was a different underdog set up where he had two holding players alongside him. This is a whole new ball game for h and I didn't think he was up to it beforehand.

Yeah, we've been terrible but he doesn't even look like a player. He's completely failed to do the one thing he was signed for. He's supposed to be a big unit who doesn't get bullied around. He's made a fairy like Nasri look like Chuck Norris when he's gone up against Toure.

Toure is one of the best midfielders in the world and has bullied many top midfielders in the past. Carrick has had just as much of a fecking stinker against him.

No you are just a terrible fecking observer. What is one player supposed to do in that midfield? Why am I arguing with you for you havent a baldy.
feck off Ramshock. I've not blamed him for today, its not all his fault, but he's provided none of the steel he's supposed to be able to provide. We've been walked all over in midfield, and that's the job he's supposed to be there to do.

Fellaini was signed to stop that. He's supposed to give us some steel in there. fecking look at him.

Well he still can't pass the ball well enough to play here but that's been abundantly clear to most people since day 0. I thought he was supposed to offer some midfield steel though, and that hasn't happened today either. He's looked better playing closer to the forwards when we're 4-0 down but we didn't (I hope) buy him for that. A shocking team performance doesn't help him.

I think Cleverley played well at the Etihad last season so it's disappointing he's only been introduced after we've been thumped.
