He seemed lost at times and he played it safe. Some of the red tinted posts here are a bit embarassing to be honest. FFS just a 10 years ago we had Scholes and Keane in their prime and now we're all excited about having a midfielder capable of passing a successful 2 meter pass.

Sweet Jesus.

The bolded is highly pedantic.

I'm not saying he was anything better than decent. However even that bears mentioning given the over the top criticism he's received on this forum since he was signed.

Im being pedantic because these 'he did well' or even 'he was fantastic' border to the ridiculous. As you say he was decent. I give him that. Nothing more, nothing less.

BTW He's getting the criticism a 27m rated player would get when he under perform in any big club. Better players got more stick then that (ex Berbatov and Veron). Much of the time it was fair.

Since when have we started taking Devilish seriously?

Just ignore the clown and move on.

A thread ban would avoid everyone needing to ignore-list him.

Ironic that devilish is moaning about red tinted glasses when he's drooling over the thread with his disliking Fellaini hat on.

Hating the guy? Seriously? How old are you 10?

Your arguments have become really tedious to read, devilish. Just because people disagree with you, doesn't make them 'top reds'. Use some logic, at least.

Great capture ! Maybe not as badass as Roy Keane's ownage of Veira in the tunnel but it has that pointing finger at the cnut's face.

I love it.

He seems to think his job is to pass to the person nearest to him on the side and then jog forward unavailable for a pass. Hopefully he will understand his role better in the future but it is more or less the same thing whenever he has played so far.

He played fine in the second half... wtf are you guys going on about...

He was all right today, much better than in his previous outings and he actually looked fairly comfortable on the ball. I don't know how much of that was down to the poor quality of opposition but nevertheless it has to be seen as a positive sign.

Improvement today and he's going to keep improving. Some of the criticism levelled at him is laughable.

Considering the rest of the team had pretty much gone to sleep when he came on Fellaini did himself justice today. He wasn't spectacular but he was solid enough and showed more oomph and energy than he has in previous games. Hopefully signs of things to come and not another false dawn.

we did enough and that was about it, OK Fulham were never going to get the goals they needed, but we did not, well not for me, play fine in the second half, but it did not matter the game was already won.

I don't think you understand the difference between 'he' and 'we'.

He plodded and was the main reason we were shit in the second half

It's not a good sign when we are looking at the incident in the corner as a positive to his performance, I expect any player to stand up for his mate but I agree, it was good to see him get stuck in. He has played like a scared kitten so far, so hopefully this fires him up.

He even got that wrong, by going after Kasemi when it was actually Reither.
