MERGED: Rooney signs new contract!

 This shit is starting to affect my day in general. I'm in a bad mood all the time and get angry far too easily. feck him.

It will either be to get the owners to talk with Rooney about money available or to put him on garden leave and on the transfer list.

What odds on the latter? There is no way SAF is going to sit down with that ungrateful twat and tell him that just to keep him here he is going to buy this one and that one, it is none of his goddam business. Hope we can find a way to stop his wages as well

Fergie said he's not going to be suspended. So lord knows what their going to tell us tomorrow.

Hopefully his sale will be announced and that can be the end of it.

Rooney is insulting every member of the squad with his rubbish comments one great season and hes now the fecking king? give me a break feck off Wazza

My youngest just gone to bed in a stroop, I suppose it is the children who will be hurt the worst by this

Is there a way we can support the club without pinning too much faith in individual players who turn out to be a Rooney.
I think there is.
I only get to three games a year and when I go, I wear a retro 1958 shirt bought in one of the souvenir shops (unofficial) on Chester Road.
Last November three generations of the Fitzjames Clan (myself, my two sons and my grandson then almost seven) went to the Everton game.
As I recall my son bought my grandson a pre-printed "7 Owen" shirt which (I might be wrong here) was £40.
No offence to Michael Owen...but its always a risk.......and some players Neville, Scholes, Giggs, Fletcher, O'Shea, Brown......have earned that right.

But surely we need to stop ourselves in January or whatever going into the Megastore just to buy the new Number 10.
If we really believe....that the Club is bigger than any individual player......lets wear shirts that are "plain" and not potentially devalued (as Rooney #10 is now).

Or better still ....put our own names on the back. LIVE THE DREAM.
If you see "Fitzjames #7" in January boys and girls....say hello to me.

Where does one view (or get quotes) of this SAF post match press conference (non sky one)

When did Sir Alex make the cows comment? The ones that Wr8 United posted?

He had another interview with the journo's after the first one :

OliverKayTimes Ferguson on cows:"Sometimes you look in a field,
see a cow and think it's better than the one in your field. But it never works out that way"

Hopefully SAF will have his car ready again. Only this time, he isn't hijacking anybody, but he'll be driving that wee shit straight to the airport and telling him to get the feck out of Manchester.

Why would he need an airport to go a few miles south-east to the Magoo's? I'd have thought a taxi or metro would suffice :smirk:

If there is truth in the below, maybe Gill, Ferguson and owners will get together to improve the offer?

Manchester United legend Lou Macari has revealed to talkSPORT a trusted Old Trafford insider told him Wayne Rooney's reasons for wanting to leave: Money.

While pundits have postulated on why Rooney has refused to sign a new contract, Macari believes his reasons are less than honourable.

And he expects Rooney to never don the red of United again.

Macari told Drive Time: “I spoke to someone at Old Trafford who I trust with my life – I know he is honest and genuine – and he said to me it is down to nothing else except money. And I believe that.

“I have heard all these reports about this or that happening, but it is simply an open market for Wayne Rooney and whoever pays the most money to him and his agent, that is where he will go.

“It is all about money. You can forget about rifts with the manager, that he is not happy with the team at the moment or that he is concerned about silverware in the future.

“That is all nonsense – it is all about money. So whether it is Manchester City or abroad I don't really care.“

Just had an ITK mate of mine telegram me with the "solution" to the situation that Sir Alex will announce after his meeting with David Gill in the morning. Apparently Ferguson will announce tomorrow that Wayne Rooney will no longer be part of the team and will be isolated away from the other players. He'll have a new strict training regime that will consist of sitting on a couch watching Man City yearly reviews while eating pringles, his personal dietician has arranged for a new revoloutionary diet deep fried pizza to be his regular dinner, but don't worry bitters fans we'll still provide him with plenty of matches, as we up his cigarette habit to 40 a day.

He then sent me a picture he got from his last trip in his delorean of Wayne leaving old trafford for the last time.

You posted something about developing youngsters (saying that people thought that Ronaldo and Rooney wouldn't be world class or something to that extent) and saying that there was no value, did he say them today or are they recycled?

Someone please clear this up for me?

A few people are suggesting a loan deal to city with the view to a permanent one, well how will city register Rooney? They've registered their 25 and I could have sworn that you can't change that until january?

Thanks.

funny thing.... Real Madrid fans want Llorente (spanish striker) rather than Rooney, according to a poll on Marca.com

Are you mad? Reward his greed with more cash, which would inflate his ego even further and ultimately do no good. No, bridges have been burned, get rid and until then freeze him out completely so the rest of the squad can focus on the rest of the season.
