Nervous about this game. Could be very tricky for us with Middlesbrough being desperate. Considering Tevez probably won't start at Emirates I expect him to start, same with Park, Scholes and Rafael.
 
We're going to have to put a very different team out against Boro, which is obviously a worry. We're going to have some very tired players after the effort tonight.

Hardly any of tonights players will be playing so there aren't many options. You could play Nani instead of Giggs, but with his form it could be a disaster.
Gibson was fantastic in the FA Cup game. Could do with his legs in this one.

Nervous for this one... Winning would really put pressure on liverpool, but drawing or losing could give them that extra bit of energy. They're playing newcastle at home so are guaranteed to increase their goal difference by at least twelve goals.
 
Liverpool have got just as much chance dropping points against Newcastle as we do against Boro.. kind of, sorta, not really

Anderson / Scholes has been often a poor combination when used. But with Park on the left, that would offer extra protection for the defense.

This season we've not done too well after Champions League matches. As shit as Boro are, they are fighting for their survival. I'll be happy with a very scrappy 1-0 win personally.
 
After he gets some action as a sub, probably a week or two, but neither Arsenal match and not this one. Good player, but as RB he isnt the most integral to the side, so United to wait on him, could be quite useful for Barca or Chelsea

Sorry but Brown not being integral to the side is bullshit.
 
He leaves the right side secure, which is vital as Ronaldo rarely defends. And in attack he links with wingers better than our other RB options

I;d prefer Carrick or Scholes over Fletcher, as I want him to start v the Arse in the same formation as today, he runs around a lot so I dont want him to have to play 3 games in quick succession
 
Yup 1-0 win will be enough for me. Would love to see Tevez score.

But somehow or rather Boro is a very very difficult place for Utd to go to. We will have to carefully mix it up between persistant attacking and focused defending. Their keeper will be the MOTM. We have to score from our first few chances.

feckin bar mitzvah this Sat morning! not only is it costing me money to go to it, I'm missing the game too.

too hard to predict any lineups but I'll settle for 3 pts for us in any way, shape or form.

dunno how much fun it'll be; stuck in a temple while the game is still on. if we get the 3 pts then I'll celebrate later. I keep getting mixed up thinking there's a roast pig going on but that's after a wedding I'm going to in 5 months time, in another country :rolleyes:

think he might just give Carrick an overdue break - not much muscle in the mf so Anderson rather than Park maybe

nor would it surprise if Macheda/Wellbeck were on the bench to give us an option if needed at the expense of one of the midfield subs
 
I dont reckon there will be too many changes. 1 or 2 in midfield and Berbatov will probably start.
