According to SAF hes been in trainning for a while and hes still a quality player so we will just have to trust him
Yup he seems to trive when we play 5 or 3 in midfield and i reckon for the final few games (away anyway) he will be vital to our title push, he only got 60 minutes on Wed so i can see him starting today
Not alongside Scholes though I don't think - only two games pop in to mind when we played Scholes - Anderson and we lost both of those

Yeah but i was talking using Anderson in a midfield 3 where we would have Carrick/Fletcher or Giggs as the other CMFer, i agree when those 2 have played in a 442 we havent looked good but Anderson really seems to come alive when we play him in a 433 - which is what i am expecting us to go with today

Yeah same here, its just this team always raise their game when they play us. If i was one of their supporters it would do my head in knowing they can play good but only save it for one game in the season rather than do it against the teams they should be beating
Fergie isn't stupid. He won't pick weakened team, because he knows how difficult was Riverside for us in previous seasons and he knows also how important is that game in case of putting pressure on Liverpool, because this is one of two fixtures when we play before Liverpool in last ten matches this season.

Yeah I don't particularly disagree on any point, I was more aiming it at the fellow that had a Scholes - Anderson CM. Anderson did look good in a 442 with Hargreaves last season tbh, especially at the Emirates and Anfield.

Yeah he did but this season for one reason for another he hasnt looked good in a 442, whether its been with Carrick, Fletcher or Scholes. If we use Anderson now it seems to be in that 433 with him playing the more advanced
