Mourinho or Pogba?

If it was an either/or situation, who would you rather United keep?

Pogba every time. Infact, give me a dustbin in midfield over Jose.

Woodward must be pissed with Jose. He pushed the boat out to get Pogba for Jose then Joses fall out with him.

Pogba all day long.
Pogba is / should be the future of this United side. Mourinho on the other hand should be out the door.

Ending up at 2nd last season was lucky, based on statisitics: Most shots on goals conceded, fewest shots and chances created in the top 6.

We were consistently in that spot, I don't think that's fortune.

Can someone explain why it's a choice ?
I think it’s motivated by this Barca interest being almost certainly engineered by Pogba’s agent, raising the possibility that the player wants out after a season of reports of issues between him and the manager. Still a stretch, and it’s not a case of one leaves if the other doesn’t but here the poll is anyway.

What if Pogba fecks off anyway regardless what happens with Mourinho? His agent wants big fees. He used to pimp Zlatan out to every club willing to pay him. He’d do the same with Pogba unless he sacks him.

Nedved agree with you !

I have major reservations about Mourinho. I won't be sorry if/when he leaves, but I don't think Pogba's rather disappointing time at United is his fault. The club (overhyping), Raiola (generally being a cnut), Pogba himself (believing the hype) are all responsible. Plus I'm not sure he's suited to the hustle and bustle of the PL.

So I've reluctantly voted Mourinho.

How on earth is this a poll?

Pogba will feck off in a year or two whether Mourinho is still here or not. Mourinho will probably feck off in a year or two whether Pogba is here or not.

There's also little actual evidence the two don't get on...when the nonsense about them hating each other was at it's peak, they were accidentally filmed laughing and joking together on MOTD...but yeah it's one or the other guys.

Probably showing my age but surely I’m not the only one sickened by the idea that this is actually a thing in modern football?

Or, to put it another way, can we please stop signing footballers to whom this shit matters? Somehow I can’t see the likes of Luka Modric worrying about his cocking brand platform.
Modric is hardly an off the pitch model professional, he hangs around with corrupt Croatian officials in his free time and lies for them in court.

Lets be realistic, Pogba just won a World Cup and wants to win Champions Leagues. We're miles away from the Premier League, let alone the Champions League. I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

I hope it will get better again.

What’s better? Can’t you accept there’s a lot of negativity around the club just now and people are entitled to discuss it? There’s a select few on here that jump down anyone’s throat that dares to not look at things like they’re rosy. I wanted Mourinho and was delighted when he came but I can admit that things don’t look too good at the moment and people are right to be worried.

I want what's best for Manchester United. We have a choice between a world class player or a poor manager. Or a manager who is a shadow of his former self. Let's put it that way so people aren't offended. I know which one is better for the club.

Apparently Mourinho's assessment of Pogba's World Cup performances "upset" him further and the relationship is "strained" as well:

No brainer for me, Pogba stays Mourinho goes, all day.

Not going to happen though, so hopefully we can get mega money for Pogba

Maybe he should have thought about that before joining. Looking at our squad back then, i wouldn't say we looked like CL favourites either.

I’d get rid of both. Pogba has been rumoured to want a move to Barca for a while now (and who can blame him?). Little point in harbouring a player who wants away. As for Mourinho, I never liked him. I consider him a ‘busted flush’ and I do not see him as the man to guide us back to a position where we can realistically challenge City, who look like they are getting even better.

To be honest Pogba isn't even that great and has NOT been great for us at all.

But I'm sick to death of Mourinho, his moaning and anti football so I voted for Pogba.

So most people would rather have a proven disloyal player over one of the best managers in the game?

It was just a spinoff between myself and @Judas. He said something along the lines of rather seeing Mourinho go than Pogba and I said that's ludacris!

The results of the poll has so far hurt my feelings so I'm off to bed.

Hate you Judas.

I wouldn't doubt it. Same guy who left us when Fergie wouldn't play him as much as he wanted.

I've voted for Pogba now because he's the best player in our squad and Jose hasn't been himself off late.

Nah, we'd rather keep our most talented outfield player over the most negative manager in the game
He hasn't exactly PLAYED like our most talented has he? Also most negative manager in the game? More than Sam Alladyce? The hyperbole is insane on the caf these days.

The weird thing is, a lot of posters here actually think he's been very good for us over long spells. Even though most neutrals say he's not worth the hype in a United shirt and ex players wonder when hel come good, it's like the caf is a parallel dimension where he's bloody brilliant.

He hasn't played like it because our team is setup to play appalling football. Pogba was great for France, and great for juventus. Its not just Pogba, its the same story for many of our players. They play well so we buy them, then they turn to shit. Our future would look far brighter with Pogba at the club and a manager who brings the best out of him, than it would without Pogba and miserable Mourinho still here. My only concern is only ever what's best for United, and Mourinho is not good for us.

Fits and spurts, he's had some great form and then some absolutely woeful form. The caf is bi-polar and trying to work out what it really thinks is impossible because it changes with the wind.

Then how come Lukkaku has played well for us? Ibrahimovic, matic etc. They've had good seasons despite all this, yet Pogba for two seasons has YET to play at the standard he has done at Juventus consistently. Maybe, just maybe it isn't just Mourinho?
