Moyes So Far!

FFS i wish people would stop going on about rotation, its the start of the pissing season players shouldn't need a rest. Add to that we lost our previous league game we shouldnt be resting anyone.

We do look a different team this season, I don't just jump on the manager for this result but rather getting rid of our successful coaching team!

I'm annoyed right now so will probably think a little different when I've calmed down but either way im not impressed one bit by Moyes.

Woeful start by him, absolutely atrocious. I predict a trophyless season, a couple of key departures in the summer, and we foolishly stick with him for another year.

He has my backing, but let's not sugar coat it.

It's a pretty abysmal start so far.

We would have been well out of the title race if Chelsea and City were their ussual self.

Is it an abysmal start - yes probably, but honestly today alot of people were feeling positive about that lineup and we still played cack. He's done it his way and bored us to death and played shit, he's tried it our way and we still played cack... he needs time to get rid of the non-performers and find some chemistry which works. Guys who perform stay in.

As far as I can see...

DDG
Rafael ? ? ?
Nani ? ? ?
Rooney RVP

Is as far as we've got in terms of definite team selection, all the other places are up for grabs.

It seems at the minute you play regardless of how shit or badly you've played previously. Ferdinand has been our worst player lately yet he continues to play. Buttner is a championship level player and he's playing today. Ridiculous.

Of course not all the blame lies with the manager but the lack of hunger and poor individual efforts can also be attributed to the quality of his work. To be fair I'm not sure I've ever seen us as lacklustre under Ferguson, there was
always a certain spark of quality in the team.

Very poor start in terms of results.

Worse than that I'm struggling to remember a decent performance this season.

Obviously he needs more time but the signs are worrying.

The lack of tempo and urgency in our play is concerning. It's been a theme in almost every game so far and we've struggled to create chances. No PL goals from open play since the first game of the season. Too predictable, too slow and not what you expect from United. Moyes has to be blamed for that but the players are not helping by playing as poorly as they have.

Fergie could wake the players up from their collective comas by giving them the hair dryer, I don't know if Moyes is capable of that or if the players would react to him like they did to SAF.

Clueless. He's in over his head. We have been consistently so shit it's mind-boggling. Rooney has played well, but the team has been awful.

Buck stops with the manager. This is an atrocious performance. Really really bad football.

Well, to be fair having someone like Rio play as pathetic as he did, it wasnt all down to Moyes. His players failed him. Fair enough the fullbacks of Buttner and Jones is questionable, but really Rio and Evans lacked organisation and looked very rusty.

Looking well out of his depth tbh. Still no goals from open play in the league since the first day

Disgusting start to the season. Deserves any criticism for playing showers of shite like Young and Anderson.

Glazers will panic and step in if it goes on much longer. Their financial plan cant take the strain of not finishing in the top 4.

We also need to stop playing 4-4-2, it is just too wide open at the moment.

You can't really call this anything other than a complete disaster to be honest. We need a miracle to win anything this season, and it's not even just this season I'm worried about. Can Moyes turn this around?

He has made the worst possible start to life after Fergie. I suppose that's all that can be said.

WBA fans were signing "sacked in the morning"

Much worse than Hodgson for Liverpool. The signs are that the chosen one is the wrong one.

Fellaini clearly aint going to work. A very bad signing by Moyes. The guy is just so static in a team that moves the ball quickly.

We went through this for the last two years. Bouts of lackluster play. A rout followed by no response from the team. I'm far more concerned isn't the problem.

Let's be honest, if this was moyes at city we would all be laughing at him and saying what a terrible start, in every sense. The only good thing moyes has done so far was give nani a new contract and keep Rooney. A few more results like this and he might be sacked.

Awful team selection. Resting Vidic yet keeps playing Rio, who can't even move these days. Starting Buttner and Anderson. Where the hell is Cleverley?

Wow, just wow .... terrible terrible start to the season. We'll just need to patient this year. A storm is coming Mr Moyes, you'd better be ready.

Our team play looks average.
-No control of the game,
-No cleverness and creativity you'd expect from a big team like us, even against 'low' opponent,
-Substitution isn't inspiring,
-We lost a game we should have won in OT.

I fear for the worst.

Although I hope he can turn this around, I see it as more likely the above happening. Out loyalty to him and having a long term manager may be our undoing 2 years down the line.

Players should take a lot of the blame, players Moyes didn't buy. But he had the summer and an unlimited budget to strengthen and chose not, so he was happy with what the squad.

I think post-Sir Alex there is an nervousness about the club, even at home to a side we should beat players and fans just aren't confident.

Well, to be fair having someone like Rio play as pathetic as he did, it wasnt all down to Moyes. His players failed him. Fair enough the fullbacks of Buttner and Fabio is questionable, but really Rio and Evans lacked organisation and looked very rusty.

Fabio didn't even play. Evans just back from injury and Moyes played him with Rio who's been horrid this season so far, Buttner should be no where near our starting 11 and why is Rafael not playing ahead of Jones at RB.

He gambled on our attack to win us the game, and apart from Rooney, the rest of them are still finding their way into the season because they've hardly played much. He showed a lack of respect for WBA and it backfired on us.

I dont think people should underestimate the Glazer factor in this. Look at how they deal with their Tampa Bay coaches in the NFL. They really dont take any shit. Moyes needs to stop with the " I dont know the players yet" etc which gives him an air of unpreparedness and show us he knows what he is doing. I honestly have suspicions he has too many voices giving him advice in Round, Neville, Giggs and most likely Ferguson. His team selections have been erratic and mostly wrong and that might be the reason why.

typo, meant Jones. My bad.

I just hope there's someone good available when he does eventually get the boot.

If Moyes is struggling to get to know the team and club then maybe he shouldn't have sacked the entire fecking coaching staff when he arrived.

Oof, this is gonna be a painful season. Get the feeling his days might already be numbered.
