United should not be worrying about making it hard for Newcastle (not publicly). He should be speaking about Newcastle changing their game for United. I dislike the terms but his statements make United sound like a 'reactive' team, rather than the 'active' team, virtually every home game.
"We are totally focused on winning against Newcastle and climbing the table and, if we do that, we can start looking at what's next,"
"I think Manchester United supporters understand fully that it was always going to be transitional and that it will be a bumpy road at times. There is a bigger picture here and we are looking at that as well. I am the manager of Manchester United and I think it was always going to be a bit like that [bumpy]. It would have been the case if it was anyone else because it is a changeover period. We have the next game coming up against Newcastle United and we will try to do something about it."
We have lost one in 13. If someone had been told before those 13 games we would lose one out of the next 13 the response might have been 'that is really good'.
Hes happy losing 1 in 13. Small time mentality.
Yeah he's got no balls and he's scared. That's why he ignored Alex Fergusons advice on staff to be his own man. That's why he has been playing an 18 year old Januzaj regularly. He's playing it safe.
And my point was where did Moyes say he was happy losing the game.
He's obviously not happy with losing, what manager is?
I know for a fact that Moyes didn't rate some of the previous staff. Question his decision all you like but there are signs that the new coaches are doing good work. Ok it's not brought great performances, but how can we, as outsiders, say thay it has anything to do with the staff? It's pure guesswork on our part and just highlights the need for some to try and turn it into a negative to beat Moyes with.
We've new fitness coaches and a new goalkeeper coach. Funnily enough they're two areas that I think we've improved in already.

Really?? Although to be fair, De Gea hasn't really changed from last season
How did you come by that knowledge? If he didn't rate them then why?
As I said, it's hard to tell from the outside. However I look to Rooney and see a massive improvement. Fergie lamented him never being fit but now he seems to be in the best shape in years. Either it's the fitness training or Moyes has motivated him to sort himself out.
With regards to De Gea, the previous coaches did a great job in turning him into a top goalkeeper. His only weakness was in the air, though they got him to a good standard there. Now he seems an absolute beast in the air. He's definitely got better there. It could be a natural development that the previous coaches would have brought too, but the new coaches have done it regardless. They should take some credit for that. They're obviously not as disastrous as has been made out.
Excellent point well made
However, no matter what, having Phil Neville and Ryan Giggs, learning on the job, while one of them is still playing, as coaches, is an absolute moronic thing to do..
If he goes on and becomes the best manager ever, I will still hold that over him. Stupid move!
I think they're here due to their masses of experience of the club and how things are done here. The coaches under Moyes aren't the same as they were under Fergie. Moyes is more hands on than Fergie in his later years, so the coaches serve a different purpose under him. I'm guessing they play more of a support role, whereas the coaches under Fergie needed more experience and know how as they were effectively running things on a day-to-day basis.
Not to mention that playing at the top level for such a long time is going to give you a really good understanding of coaching and the various methods. Going by what the players say about Giggs and his role over the last few years, he sounded like he was acting as more of a senior figure anyway in comparison to other players.
You cant understand why Giggs and Neville are coaching? Are you a fecking moron? How can you not work that one out? Jesus H Christ.
First of, shut the feck up with your insults!
Secondly, you tell me why the two of them are coaches? Other then the fact that one is a Moyes man and the other knows the club...You tell me, as coaches, why they deserve to be here..Because why would Giggs be hired as a coach at a club of this magnitude when Moyes has never even seen the guy train or have any idea what he would be like as a coach..I'm fascinated to hear your answer...Especially now I've given you the time and respect you deserve when I could have easily shot you down for been an arrogant, insulting, jumped up poster
He seems to getting all sorts of quotes from phantom sources. As commadus. He's the one whose seen the quote the rest of us missed
Oh yes.. let's hurl abuse at David Moyes, six months into the job - after replacing the greatest manager of all time. Fans like that almost deserves to be commercially exploited by the club. Bloody hell.
some muppet was on the United Facebook page before and said that if we lose today, then Moyes's position was untenable, just fecking stupid.
Yeah as if its his fault that the same club who won the league title comfortable just few months ago are lingering at 9th position.
